There should be a small side-effect though, perhaps TIM's eyes?

I'd choose to have Shepard live to 150, on the grounds that I am opposed to being given the choice at all.

Erin, what do you think Liara's reaction would be to seeing a human with a very tall, dyed mohawk, and full punk outfit?
I'll tell you mine.... Liara sees the above mentioned person, flares her biotics and yells at the top of her voice: "PREPARE TO DIE SHADOWBROKER!!!!!"

Do you think that it's possible that Liara, whilst excavating artifacts and ancient Prothean text on her digsites, may have perhaps come across Prothean warnings relating to the Reapers? However, Liara may not have realises their true significance and nature, and consequently discarded them. Is that plausible at all, do you think?

Ilos was different, as that was a safe have away from the Reapers and their indoctrinated slaves. Unless she had found another beacon, but I think they are rare, as the Reapers probably destroyed as much of the Protheans' communication network as possible.

Anyone else think that if Samara and Liara met they'd get along great? I can imagine them having a sort of mother-daughter relationship. Liara could warm up to Samara due to the absence of a mother figure in her life.
I think so (let's ignore the possibility that Liara has broke some galactic laws on Illium and Samara would have to go all Justicar on her).
Samara has also lost her daughters to the Ardat-Yakshi condition, so it could be that they would form a mother/daughter type bond.

Liara and Samara could get along. Samara could be an important person in helping Liara back away from criminal activities, whether or nor Samara knows about them, or this aforementioned process. Samara could also teach Liara some biotic tricks. Lastly, Justicar Liara!
I already got told no asari mind melds with Samara because of "The Code." I don't want to lose Liara to that also.

I don't know. The Reapers supposedly covered their tracks. I don't think she found anything that would have pointed to them.

I'm just thinking that it could be as little as a tiny amount of text, or an unclear visual warning. Something that Liara, whilst valuing, would also see as ultimately insignificant as at that point she is unaware of the true nature of the Reaper genocide of the Protheans.

I'd think so, yeah. I wonder if Samara would think that ultimately Liara's hunt for the Shadow Broker is a noble cause, and one that she should be commended for? Liara seeks to eliminate the Shadow Broker, as he is a threat to galactic security. I'm sure Samara would understand and appreciate what Liara is trying to accomplish.
I like the mother/daughter relationship idea too. Pretty funny that prior to ME2's release, people were speculating that Samara was Liara's other parent.

That's possible...something that minute would have been absolutely meaningless to her at the time, however. Perhaps there are times when she remembers some of these little things, and they make sense to her now given her knowlege of the Reapers.

Very, very true. In a similar fashion, when I first played through ME1 and encountered Ian Newstead in the tunnels on Feros, what he was saying sounded like the rantings of a madman. I thought that he had completely lost the plot. However, when I now play the game, I understand what he is saying and why he is acting in that manner, as I am aware of the Thorian and it's effects.
This could also be the case with Liara and the possible clues she uncovered regarding the Reaper genocide of the Protheans. What seemed like the ramblings of an eccentric cult when she first read them, warning of "ancient sentient starships" and "evil machines" now probably makes sense, as she fully understands the full extent of the Reaper invasion.
