Pupil constriction is caused by opiates or anti-depressants...or horridly bright lighting.
Perhaps asari eyes are just more sensitive to light, so the pupils are noticeably constricted?

Totally! And in a few shots, her color almost looks normal in ME2....rynluna wrote...

Seeing as I don't want to read 1600 pages to see if someone said this already. If the devs make more Mass Effect games liara could still be in them even if shepard isn't because asari live for a 1000 years so even if they jump 500 years after the ME trilogy Liara will still be alive.

That is assuming she lives through ME3.... we don't know anything about the plot or if it is possible to have squad mates "virmired."

If she can get killed or there is a choice between squadmates, Im choosing her. The least they could do is have a cameo for her in the future.

One thing to consider is the exclusion of the choice of wether she dies or not. I mean, it's possible that the reason why she cannot die in either previous game is that she being "saved" --to put it quite callously-- in order for her to be able to be killed or sacrifice herself in Mass Effect 3.

that is what I was thinking. It would suck if she died no matter what you did.

It wouldn't be an upbeat end, to be sure. But another thing to consider is that character death --while sad-- doesn't neccesarily have to be pointless.

Take a look, everyone. I came across a new piece of Liara fanart. It's entitled "Liara on Earth".
