Eeeww..hee hee!

That's Liara too...any asari in fan art that has eyebrows is Liara by default.

Edit:  this random first post was directed at the comic on the previous page.

Because things were said about Liara in winter clothing.

Image IPB

This strikes me as more of the thing she would wear. Not fluffy, as it seems a bit gratuitous for her character.

Plus it reminds me of the end of Quantum Of Solace.

"Liara? Are you coming back?"

"I never left."

They have a genetic propensity towards homicidal behavior.  Value judgments aside, humans, and apparently Asari, too, put people like that in asylums or prisons.

She might take on Samara's attitude towards Morinth...what does she say again?  Morinth is a tragic figure, but not a sympathetic one.

I don't think they can control them..they are kind of like earlobes (though, some people can move those).

I don't think they have the reach and flexibility needed, though.

And yes, you should be thinking about Garrus now.

I think Liara would want Morinth to be incarcerated and then perhaps attempt to rehabilitate her, so that she can live a somewhat normal life. Problem is, does Morinth want to be rehabilitated?

I don't think Liara would support retribution like death, though.

But I don't want to think about Garrus!

Yeah, it's pretty obvious they can't control their head fringes. I wonder what evolutionary purpose they serve?

Why do you say that?  I disagree with you.

I say this because I don't think that Liara would agree with a idea that says that a person is bad just because that person have born with a genetic defect.

I don't think that they have a genetic propensity to homicidal behavior  Morinth like Samara said chose to kill but I think that other ardat-yakshi could live among other people withou kiling.  IMO they keep the ardat-yakshi in prison because if the other races know about the ardat-yakshi the asari race will face a huge discrimination and distrust after all no race will want to deal with a race that have individuals that can use mind control, Samara says smothing like this. But it's just my interptation of what is said about the ardat-yakshi.

The Ardat-Yakshi feel compelled to mate.   They mate by mind-joining.  They become addicted to the mind-joining, because with each person they kill through this method, they become more and more powerful.  The process has diminishing returns, and the Ardat-Yakshi has to kill more and more people just to get the same effect.

If your theory is true, I don't think other species would blame the Asari for removing the Ardat-Yakshi from the general populace, considering their condition.   At that point, it's not prejudice or discrimination.

EDIT:  Formatting woes.

I've seen people suggest elsewhere that Liara could be an Ardat-Yakshi. However, this was quickly ridiculed as the utter rubbish that it is. Morinth's symptoms began to manifest themselves at age 40, which seems to suggest that they appear once an asari reaches sexual maturity. Liara is 108, and has already melded with Shepard. Shepard is still alive. Liara is not an Ardat-Yakshi, dammit!

Considered from the perspective of the lore we are presented with in ME1, those claims make no sense.  The Ardat-Yakshi didn't even exist in the game's lore back in ME1.  Bioware would have to do some really funky retconning to make Liara an Ardat-Yakshi.

Oh yeah. I'm not kidding. Some suggested that it could be an "explanation for her newfound ruthless personality". Derp!

Liara melded with my Shepard. My Shepard loved every single freaking second of it, and didn't want her intimacy with Liara to ever end!

Don't worry...little Anni Shepard would be dead if that were the case.

Oh, I remember that motivational I made for you with Anni and Liara (yes, I will call her Anni from now on!)

I know it sucks, but it's the thought that counts!  I think...

Liara poll.

'fraid I'll have to abstain. I'm yet to play DA unfortunately. It therefore isn't fair for me to vote.

I can't imagine any character ever exceeding my love for Liara, though!

It doesn't suck at all. Looks a bit like my Shepard too, except for the hair color.

I like to think Liara has a picture of Shepard she keeps in her desk drawer in ME2. Every so often, she'd take it out and stare at it.

You doubt your Liara love that much, that you will not vote in a poll with her vs. another character you haven't met?

For shame!

I also think that in Liara's apartment she must have some of Shepard personal  things something that remind her of Shepard.

You should give DA a try though. I can only recommend it. But get it for PC if possible.
