Liara is such a freak! I think york has a point, here.

See, I look at Samara and you don't get the same kind of "beauty" and "familiarity" vibe that I get when I look at Liara. Her eyebrows and facial contours give her a much more recogniseable "human" appearance. Eyebrows are a vital aspect in facial recognition, and Liara and Benezia are unique in that they are the only asari that possess them, and therefore have a more familiar human appearance that is easier to relate to.

Anyone else think Aria is the second-most beautiful Asari? Or is it the Asari councilor? Anyway, Aria is one of the few things in ME 2 I do really like.

Anyway, I think Samara is just as attractive as Liara. If your definition of beauty is anthropomorphic paraeidolia, then I don't have much to say either way.

I think it's the way in which the color blends. Look at Samara's headcrest. It's a dark teal/green color, and looks as if its color is "seeping" in to the light blue of her face. If Asari just look like humans wearing prosthetic head-props, you can't immediately tell where the prosthetic joins with her head. Liara's headcrest is a lighter color than the rest of her face, and it doesn't blend well - it looks like a curved line across her forehead, which gives it the prosthetic look.

Yeah, I think they wanted to give her the illusion of 'hair' to make her more human? I don't know...Liara's head coloring is more concentrated, and it's difficult to make it look good if you are drawing her.
I don't really care, I think all asari are sexay! Liara/Samara/Aria/etc.

I think Aria and Liara kind of look the same in the face.
I'm curious now what Benezia's head fringes were like...we can't see them, unfortunately.

That's explains why they ignore Liara different head color in Redemption but why they have ignored the frekles?

I actually think it'd look strange to see her without her headdress. We've become so accustomed to her wearing it, that it would look odd to actually see her head fringes.

I must admit I always found that headdress a bit ridiculous.

IMO, there is no excuse good enough for ignoring her freckles. Makes about the same amount of sense as making her purple....

I do agree that the headdress is a little funny looking, though!
