No
I've heard that alot...I think the armor is OK...I like the bonuses and the fact that it's piece-wise and you can customize it.

About the Liara DLC it could be just Liara going after the SB instead of Liara and Shepard we would play as Liara and perhaps we could chose the path that Liara would take.

I have a feeling they won't do
anything like this for Mass Effect. First, Liara's a full biotic and
some despise this type of combat, preferring soldier type classes.
Second, Mass Effect is 'Shepard's Story' (we hear this many times) so I
don't know how popular of a DLC it would be if you play as someone that
is not Shepard.
I'd like this, though.

Me too. I only like Shep occasionally, so anything that sidelined him in favor of NPCs I find more interesting would be welcome. Liara included.

Yeah, Shep did get sidelined in Redemption (though, that's just a comic book and not the game).
I still think the biggest issue is with combat...Liara's a pure biotic, and I think most ME players prefer either the Soldier or the Infiltrator classes. Some hate having to rely on their powers and prefer just to shoot stuff.

Yeah, I like the Soldier and Infiltrator class too (I like all classes, actually, though biotics are my faves usually).
I know some hate relying on powers, though. Liara would be a full power user, with just a pistol and SMG for a weapon. Unless they give her a assault rifle....she's going all Commando!!!

Yeah, if they were seriously going to do this, they could give the player the option to pick a 'combat specialization' for Liara prior to beginning the DLC.
You could pick 'combat' which would give her more weapons and more ammo powers, but fewer biotic powers. 'Biotic' to just go full adept, or 'Tech' to have her as a Sentinel type, with both biotic and tech powers.
So, you would have three classes to pick from, all would have at least a few biotic powers, since that is Liara's bread and butter.

I don't know about tech. That would be like giving Ash biotic powers LOL.

I'd like it if all the squadmates that won't be recruitable or have major story roles in ME3 got DLC to give them a sendoff. Which means no Liara DLC unless I'm wildly off. But if Miranda and Legion aren't returning, I'd like a last hurrah.

I like how Liara possessed the "Electronic" talent in ME1. To me, that was due to her being a scientist and being capable with all of that complex lab equipment that she uses whilst out on the field. I liked it!

As an alternative to DLC in which you play as Liara whilst hunting the Shadow Broker, how about if the Liara DLC takes a cue from Kasumi, and has you play as Shepard with Liara as your sole squadmate whilst you assault the Shadow Broker's base? Liara would only be a temporary squaddie for this mission, and she'd be way OP to compensate for the loss of a second squadmate. She'd also have her biotics plus Overload, like she did in ME1. It could work.

If Legion and Miri don't return I will be mad and if no one comes back, no ME3 for me.

I prefer Liara alone because this way we could now understand what Liara has felt in the last two years throught her own eyes and have a good explanation for her hunt and this way it would be Liara chosing her own way without Shepard influence and this way all the romance content would be kept for ME3 because I feel like if there is a DLC with Shepard and Liara and this mention the romance then in ME3 the romance content will be very reduced and I still have some hope that the ME1 romance will have some plot importace in ME3. But Liara and Shepard it the most likely to happen.

I'm happy about some new DLC we've gotten today (Leliana!)...the only bad thing..it's not Liara's.
