I would realy like to think that Liara is after the SB because he is a threat to the galaxy but honestly I belive that she is hunting the SB just because she want revenge. I hope that the continuation of the strory prove me wrong thought.

It's almost the same as the handing the body she didin't handed the body to cerberus because it was the galaxy last hope she handed the body to cerberus because she wanted Shepard back.

Pin your hopes on the contents of the data cache! It's been largely overlooked and forgotten about for some reason, but this data details the full extent of the Shadow Broker's dealings with the Collectors. Liara is now in possession of this data cache, and therefore is aware of just what the SB's intentions are.

Honestly, the scene in which Feron hands that cache to Liara seemed like such an important and plot relevant one, that it would be odd for them to sweep it under the carpet and forget about it. I hope so!

I hope Feron is alive, since I'm curious as to what he sounds like....when I read the comic, I read his lines in Thane's voice. I bet he doesn't sound like Thane, though.

OMG, I thought I was the only one! I want to know what he sounds like too. Likewise with Tazzik.

I think that Feron is alive probably he will replace Thane as drell squadmate in ME3. One thing about Feron is that IMO he and Shepard knows each other because I think that Feron cares to much about Shepard for someone that he don't know.

Like Captain Kirrahe. Because, there's no salarian more badass than Captain Kirrahe.

Shepard and Liara taking down Tazzik will be quite a cool boss battle, I think.

You think they know each other from before?

I never got that impression...I think Feron was just disgusted that the SB would deal with the Collectors and hand over a body to them, but had no personal interest in Shepard.  So, Feron does have some morals somewhere deep inside :innocent:

I think Feron was just really attached to Shepard, and respected and perhaps idolised her. He was, if not for TIM's intervention, planning to lead Liara on a wild goose chase before abandoning her and looking for Shepard himself, after all.

I'm not sure as to the reason why Feron was so eager to save Shepard, and why he was so attached to her too.

Yes I think that they know each other from before beause many peolple talk that Liara left Feron for a dead body but Feron also gives more importance to a dead body that he gives to Liara because in the end he says to Liara "save Shepard" not  "save yourself Liara" so IMO he cares about Shepard.

Oh, and Liara believes that working as an information broker is not an inherently bad or corrupt position. Food for thought!

I don't think he cares about Shepard on a personal level. I just think he knows that Shepard is an important person in the grand scheme of things. And letting the collectors get their hands/claws on Shepard might not be so great.

Yeah, she specifically says it's not just about making money (which in turn, leads to most of the corruption).  I don't think Liara needs money, or cares much for it, so that's definitely not the reason she is doing it.

I was sad that he lost his badass trenchcoat in #4, by the way. I liked that thing!

It would be ironic if Liara saves Feron just to see he and Shepard being together(this can happen if he is a squadmate and LI in ME3) I bet that Liara would regret saving him. It would be real cruel to Liara if this happens.

Yeah, the trenchcoat was awesome.

I have a feeling something has happened to Feron that is far worse than death. That the SB captured him and handed him over to the Reapers in order to conduct some gruesome experiments on him. I know humans are all the rage with the Reapers now, but I'm sure they still have an interest in other species.

Yes, she believes that working as an information broker is necessarily a bad or corrupt thing, and that it can be used for the power of good and to help people.

If Liara was not hunting the Shadow Broker and felt compelled to work as an information broker regardless, then I'm sure she'd use her network for the power of good and to improve the lives of her clients.

Well, Everybody needs information, Shepard.

It's not just a bunch of lowlifes coming to her for help.

That's whilst she's operating in the Terminus Systems, and is in pursuit of one of the most powerful and dangerous entities in the galaxy. Were she not hunting the Shadow Broker, I'm sure she could set up a respectable business in Citadel space and use her knowledge and power to help people.

Not to break you guys great mood here.

But what would you have your Shepard do if Liara dies in ME3?

Go back to the Alliance as a soldier? Commit suicide? Crossing the "despair event horizon" and join Cerberus as a result?

My Shepard would join cerberus replace TIM a then bring Liara back like they brought Shepard back.

I always imagined that if your LI dies in ME3. Shepard could end up working for Cerberus because TIM gave you the offer to return them for life.... As long as you do whatever he says.

This would of course end with Shepard becoming a terrorist in eyes of the galaxy.

Give her life saving the galaxy from the Reapers, and commit the ultimate sacrifice. With my Shepard, what's the point in living in this galaxy that you've saved if it feels incredibly hollow and empty without her lover?
