Some of us who liked DA at least. It´s like they sent Frodo back to the Shire after getting to Rivendel from my POV, or ESB with different cast.
What would you like for combat, TMA? Managing groups doesn´t mesh well with direct combat as Witcher or Gothic, and the Diablo system is just pressing buttons not stop, run, recharge power,... (no, I don´t like it). By the way, PC or XBOX?
Back on topic. Just read the Redemption trade. Don´t have so much problems as how Liara was written besides a couple of moments as to how she was drawn. Both body language and facial expressions are too agressive, seems something from the 90s Dork Age. Many situations would have worked if she didn´t seem to overact that much. There is a difference between being in a bad emotional shape and about to go psyco.
The game team could learn from the artist´s armor desgins, though.
I'm playing the 360 version, which already FUBAR's group management. You can't even control people's positions besides "stop and go". Also, I don't like having so many abilities, when so many of them could have been merged. Plus, Character Tactics I was too afraid to mess with.
I just don't like DA's combat. I'm more of playing it for the story. Heck, I'm even playing it on casual, just to get threw it faster. As for what I want, maybe something like Kingdom Hearts when it comes to combat/RPG.
A friend also has XBOX and has no problems so far, but mouse is the way to play this. Don´t know KH, is it FF like combat?
Just take my point of view. Everything is going simpler and no effort due to console players because producers think you like it like that (seen interviews), this is starting to feel like action movies blockbusters, that depend more on marketing and see and forget than making something worth watching. In ME2 they took away things people complained about, with DA is things people liked. Who is taking decisions, BW or EA?
KH wise, it's not turn base like FF, and more action/rpg (Crisis Core is another example). You can jump, dodge, block, and do combos, yet still summon, use magic, use potions, control your squad, special abilities, equipment, etc.
As for problems, I'm not having problems per say, it's just find combat boring, and hate the auto save. You'd sometimes be kicking ass, then run into a moment where they're kicking your ass, and you're out of potions, Wynne's dead, and the game didn't auto save for 2 hours. And on 360, it's hard to control your party, without taking control over them.
Also, you're talking to a non PC player, who doesn't play mmorpg's. The only PC games I played are Star Craft, Half Life Series, Quake 2, and Counter Strike. That's it. I play the JRPG's, but not much Western RPG's.
