That is a very nice picture. The expression on Shepard's face is a bit odd, but nevertheless. Thanks for sharing it.

meh its the thing I had to download to make the male mercenaries work. its a pack of high resolution males from half life 2. while excelling in quaility and textures they are bendy as F**k i tested their flexibility by trying to bend their legs over their heads. and it worked but also their facial expressions are a real pain to get perfect but if you want to get really good ME2 models for gmod start with that pack.and thanks for liking it:lol:

It's really sad that the unending femShep vs. dudeShep battle killed the thread.

Liara fans fighting eachother. Way to go, everyone.

It wasn't really a battle between Maleshep and Femshep.

beside, this thread have been moving slowly in some time now. Presumeably due to the fact that everyone enjoying summer vacation (Or some atleast does).

As for the top 5 favorite female LI's?

1: Liara.
2: Alyx Vance.
3: Samara.
4: Morrigan.
5: Lellinia.

What the problem seems to me to be is... Liara fans are starving for information, and I wouldn't be surprised if they'll come back if there actually is any. It's just too damn hard to keep up enthusiasm without even a sign they'll get any type of satisfaction.

Having said that... I really wasn't very surprised at the participants of the battle as far as I could see.

(Oh, and this pic <-- ? So totally temporary that by the time anyone else sees the thread it might be gone. ;P )

It's true that fans are losing hope when we haven't heard any damn news, and the redemption comic sorta did the reverse of making the situation better.

Well unless there is any DLC with Liara that bridges the gap between ME2 and ME3, we quite literally will have nothing new until ME3 comes out in more than a year.  Not so much to do until then.  I mean, the same subjects have been rehashed quite a few times in this thread.  Except for new fan art, that's always new and nice.

-edit- Fixed a typo.

I'm going to get so much hate for this, but oh well. Liara was my romance in ME1 then I dumped her for Tali in ME2 after what she'd turned into. I just don't like her anymore after ME2... I won't be sad if she doesn't come back for 3 unless she becomes a lot more like the old Liara again.

If you're being sincere (not trolling), you won't get hate, you'll just get tons of opinions about Liara's apparent change.

Did you take this dialog option?

So do you guys think Liara ever used her contacts as an information broker to get information on who her father was? I think she must have. I get the felling it's the bartender on Illium, but there's no solid evidence.

Hmm, no, I actually hadn't seen that until now. That actually puts a lot into perspective. Weird, I did both her quests and thought I'd clicked everything.

Still, if it's possible, I'll probably keep Tali as my LI for 3. But... who knows, they might completely change things again.

Not that any of you don't know about this already, but on my current playthrough, I decided to make a few different choices in my dialogue with Liara. To my horror, I discovered that I cut off my chance to hear her tell me about how she gave Shepard's body to Cerberus. What the hell is with that? I'm starting to think her inclusion in ME2 was even more of an afterthought than Ashley/Kaidan.

*sighs* :(

Maybe the elusiveness of that dialogue option is why they created the comic series, though, that, too, was an afterthought <_<

The comic had some good parts imo. As I said, the Liara/Miranda ending or the elcor in #1.

But some of Liara's lines...ooc, I think
For example, the dialogue with that volus ("afterlife club")

Stories being transferred from one medium (game, tv, movie) to the comic book medium have never gone over well with me. The writing is off, the art is usually subpar. I think people forget that there really is an art to making a good comic book.

No, the dialogue option can be missed simply because they want you to feel like Liara doesn't care about you. That she's cold, and doesn't give a damn whether you live or die. If you don't know about the comics, that's exactly what you'll think. And you'll hate her for it.

You'll then play ME3, and find out everything she did was for you, and hate yourself.

However, it'd be unfair if she'll never tell you till then, thus the option exists.
