Why do I have to make you? Is that how you do things? Getting people to tell you to do things, you can't think for your self?

Whats the matter? Cant you make me? Tch, what a shame. I was just hoping to see if you had more than just a big mouth.

Oh well. Im afraid I cant stick around and engage in every flamewar you try and start here when you post at the same time as me. Im sure youll find something better to do while Im gone. Maybe you should try the Miranda thread?

Unlike the people who left because of you, I won't because people like you are a throne in the ass and cause nothing but grive. Go in the AKL group and spread your hate, talk about about me if you must, I know you do.

Miller´s notes about Redemption are up in his blog (Faraway press). Nothing really interesting though. Frustating considering the Kotor ones.
EDIT: did EVERYONE went on holidays the same day?

Me too!

This is the golden age of the Liara thread!

And in the name of our most sacred patron, Casey Hudson. I will now declare myself king of this thread.

Bend to me.

Might be time to create a new thread? The first post on the Garrus thread is a fine model worthy of emulation.

I fail to see how creating a new thread would help. If there's nobody to post at all!

About Liara reasons to hunt the SB she realy don't need to be guilty about Feron yes he sacrificed himself to save Shepard but he only had to do that because in Omega he betrayed Liara she could have recoverd Shepard body righ in Omega if Feron shoot Tazziq insted of the wall so IMO his sacrifice is just he making things right not something that Liara or Shepard own to him.

Didn't Feron screw up the first mission on Omega on purpose so they could track down and find the SB base. So he could get the data on the SB deals with the collectors?

But yeah I really doubt that Feron is the sole motivation behind everything she does. Just seems absurd if it was.

Yes Feron did it for to get confirmation that is honerable boss is indeed capable of dealing with the collectors. I doubt  that Feron is realy one of the motivations for Liara go after the SB IMO she is doing it just to protect Shepard from the SB like she said in the end of Redemption all of them made a new enemy, Shepard included after all I doubt that the SB will give up of cath Shepard. And perhaps because of the SB being involved with the reapers but until now we don't see nothing that shows that.

One thing that also bothers me in ME2 is that they could have made Liara's cause so much more justified or atleast understanable if they made the SB the reason behind several bad events in ME2. For example why couldn't we have a scene where we discover that Wilson was bribed/paid by SB to sabotage the base, this also count for the Pugertory warden.

It would make the SB look like a credible threat and put Liara in a slightly better light. But I guess that was too much to ask from ME2. <_<

That would have been nice.  As it is right now, Wilson's character has no reason for doing what he did, and exists solely as a vehicle by which to accelerate the game's plot.  As it is right now, the Warden on Purgatory was just stupid.

Aye the Warden is just plain ol' retarded. I remember when he sprung the "trap" I just said to myself. For a guy who deals with criminals, he sure as hell don't know how to commit crime.

But it would still be nice if he told us if he had any plans to who he would sell Shepard to.

I guess that they thought that the "his dealings with the collectors" line would be justification enought but it would be much beter if we saw some of these dealings in the game like Wilson and the Warden being hired by the SB to recover Shepard to deliver him to the collectors that would make Liara cause much easy to understand.

Yeah. They proberly thought the line was enough to make the SB look like a threat worthy of attention. Problem is, we don't know at all how far their dealing went. For all we know the deal with the collectors was one time only and the SB reason for doing it was just "good buisness". Having the SB activly trying to screw Shepard over during the course of the game would make Liara's crusade look alot more credible.

Liara story in ME2 could not only be beter explained but it could also be more important to ME2 plot and this not only because I would have liked that Liara had a more significant role in ME2 but also because it would make ME2 story better,IMO. The way they could have donne this is add to ME2 some main missons involving the SB this because we go thought the all game without know anything significant about the collectors we go thougth the relay witout a clue to what we will find in the other side IMO we should had some missons where we hunt the SB with Liara help and in this missons we would find information that the SB has on the collectors because he his the only lead to the collectors that we have and this lead is completely ignored, this would not only make Liara role in ME2 more significant but IMO it would also make the ME2  story stronger.

If you believe certain talk, Liaras role seems to have gone through quite a few permutations in ME2. Ultimately, its too late for her ME2 role now, along with Ashley/Kaidan as well. Thats done and dusted now. All thats left is to wait and see what comes, and see just how it proposes to make good on having to sit through that sorry excuse for a role in ME2. Or not, perhaps.

Ive said it before, but despite always anticipating a bad role in ME2 and getting just that, if it can actually be worth it in ME3 and mean that yes, because she is - along with the Virmire Survivor - (who is default set to Shepards opposite gender without import I believe) now the ONLY squadmates who are guaranteed to be alive, that will most certainly count come ME3.

The question is, what will that count for in ME3? Slightly more flashy, high profile cameos than other squadmates? Or will they actually get a second game where they are actually important squadmates?
