Okay, here's something that I don't think has been discussed.

All the primary characters in ME2 had their own themes, right? I wonder if Liara will be treated the same in either DLC/Expansion or ME3.

I would really like to hear Wall Of Sound's audial interpritation of her character.

I think stringed instrument motifs would suit her personal theme the best. It should consist of it entirely, but it should have a strong musical presence.

The instrument I think would suit Liara the best would be (the following will be edited once I can hunt down the actual name of the instrument) the one heard in Spock Prime's theme from the latest Star Trek movie. It has a strong audial vibe to it, but always has an undertone of sadness that's not overriding.

Music is a great way to expand on a character and a good device to help them emote. I really hope Bioware capitalizes on this.

No; because we never hear it aside from Therum. It qualifies as the "Therum" music.

Yes it is, and you can try Youtube. You can hear it on the tracks "That New Car Smell" (from 00:35 to 01:40) and "End Credits" (from 02:10 to 02:53)
