About the only thing that would make me get it at this point is if we can watch Feron die a horrible and bloody death.

What´s the problem with Feron? Way to thank him for saving our corpse.

Personally I wont care either way if he lives or dies. His character in the comic was vapid and unlikeable, and either way I just want him gone.

The third, however, is exclusive to the Mass Effect: Redemption comic: Feron, an agent of the Shadow Broker who joins Liara on her quest to save Shepard's body from none other than the Shadow Broker himself. In the end he ends up getting captured by the Broker's enforcer, Tazzik... or did he?
I find it to be highly unlikely that the Shadow Broker turns out to be someone, or something, we never knew. Revealing the identity of an entity this mysterious and intriguing will no doubt be one of the memorable moments of the series, and thus it will probably be a shocking revelation to say the least. A random volus or asari would not have the same impact as someone you may know and possibly care about.
Wouldn't having Liara's new friend turning out to be the Shadow Broker be a great twist? I can definitely see BioWare pulling a Keyser Söze like that, which would also change how one would look at the comic: the legendary Shadow Broker turning out to have been playing with Liara, Cerberus and the Collectors/Harbinger all along, never intending to sell the hero of the Battle of the Citadel to the Collectors, but just furthering his own plans, whatever those may be...

Ideally Id like to see an even split between the combat and the dialogue, but Id probably have to assume it will follow ME2s path of "lets build the game as if the player is an idiot, and cant stand to be away from shooter combat for prolonged periods of time".

It would depend on the Shepard. I got a paragon with a strong "let it go and join up with me again" impulse. My mainshep paragade would probably pick "let her decide" while thinking having a good friend as the Shadow Broker would be darn useful...
Not sure what my dudeshep would do. He romanced her but he also moved on a little. He'd be really conflicted about it. Probably another "let her decide" just because he wouldn't know what to do.
And yes, I am just a random passerby so forgive me. It's just a really interesting scenario.

Uhhh....I don't have aliasing problems - those are armor segments with no shading to show where they're seperated at the moment...

Yeah generally the resentment surrounding Feron stems from the fact that he betrayed and misled Liara numerous times during the Redemption comic, and also despite that, he is the second reason for Liara ignoring Shepards request for help in ME2 (hunt for Shadow broker & search for her "friend").
Personally I wont care either way if he lives or dies. His character in the comic was vapid and unlikeable, and either way I just want him gone.
I don't dislike him for any particular thing he did or did not do in the comic. I want to see him die just for being a horribly thought out and "tacked on" character.

I'd like to point out that the "Let it go" option really struck me. It makes a nice counterpart to her driving force of not being able to let Shepard go.

I could imagine that asking her to let her hate go away early in the mission will have her get angry at Shepard. Saying he didn't go through what she did and making the SB pay is the only way to she could move past it.
