I sort of gave up on here as there was zero news on liara dlc but when I read about the dlc I had to come back so is this based after the me2 story as bioware did say that they will be making dlc to bridge the gap between me2 and 3 now

Yeah I'm not feeling the coat either.  Maybe it looks better in motion though.

My expectations for wardrobe are so low at this point that I'm just glad her combat garb isn't 5" mules and pasties.

While I had hoped she would use actuel combat armor. I'm glad that they atleast gave her good casual clothes to fight in, unlike certain others. "cough"Samara"cough".

I like the clothes enough. In fact, I could imagine that what she would wear on her acherlogical digsite where the suroundings might be less friendly than normal. But I still think she should wear combat armor. Considering the fact they are going to bust into the SB main base, which is proberly filled up with elite mercenaries and defence systems.

Actually she is essentially wearing full armor. Having stared at those pics for quite some time to get that drawing right, if you removed the coat she would be left in some decent armor that seemingly resembles ME1 light armor.

Now that you mention it. She does wear armor! You just have to look at her legs to see that!

Holy ****! Liara is the first female squadmate in ME2 to wear real armor! (Tali cheated and Kasumi's isn't real armor)

Also with Liara, they went the mordin route with her(armor, but gave it a lab coat look) and Liara looks sexy in it

Oh man I'm an idiot.

I'm on my second playthrough because the first time around because I failed on Liara's missions and missed the "because I couldn't let you go" line. I just completed her side missions and.... said the wrong thing and missed the line again. I'm such an idiot, I did save though just before meeting her so hopefully I can get it right this time.

EDIT: Crisis averted.  That save proved lucky, the scene is a hell of a lot more emotional for me seeing it with my Shep.
