With Liara, I am sure that a lot of content will be involved, not just run and shoot. Overlord was a good indicator. And if there is romantic content, I will keel over, OMG! lmao. I'd be pretty well gobsmacked if there wasn't any romance content.  There's really no reason not to go there once you've already paid for Hale/Meer and Ali Hillis to show up.

I'm just hoping they record new lines for Garrus and Tali or at least come up with plausable excueses for you not to have a squad.  The mute squaddies in Overlord were way out of character and vaguely creepy.

Or she can just check SB´s datafiles for useful information. Going to the Suicide Mission with it would be a silly move, and a Paragon wouldn´t want TIM to have it, so Liara is the one he can trust. Considering Council approach of denial to the Reapers, Liara is also the other person we know besides TIM with some (if little) power to get things ready, so her staying to try get galaxy prepared would be logical. Not thata I´m expecting any of this...



Anyway I hope it is post Suicide Mission and she gets to stay, though.

Honestly, so long as they actually put some effort into presenting the reason logically, and it leaves the door open for her return as a squadmate in ME3, Id be totally okay with the "I cant leave the Shadow Brokers information like this - let me see if I can learn something useful about *insert hypothetical reaper connection here*"

I just hope to god they dont make Liara assume the role herself. Ignoring the fact that the Shadow Brokers role is not humanly/"asarily" possible given what we know so far (dealing with an entire galaxies secrets is a 24 hour, seven day a week, 365 day a year job), Im pretty sure it would just be an early spelling out of a supporting role in ME3, rather than a key squadmate.

Perhaps Liara will go to where she should have been had it not been for the Shadow Broker's involvement - Ilos.

I dont believe she should have been there, and if were to believe the councils dismissal in ME2, there is nothing worthwhile left on Ilos. They claimed they had people visit, and Vigil was apparantly no more, having burnt out.

I think Liaras place is beside Shepard trying to stop the reapers, but it wouldnt make much sense if she didnt have a good reason for being there. Hopefully this DLC goes towards setting up a good reason for her return in ME3 - Like I said, having vital information found from the Shadow Broker would be a good reason. That after all was her forte in ME1: she had specialist information Shepard and everyone else lacked.

I'm incredibly excited about the coming DLC. If BioWare's reputation for excellence is anything to go by, the sheer depth of the romantic conversation and emotionally charged plot will make up for the fact that Liara can't possibly join your squad permanently. Even so, it can't hurt to dream that she might join up again (after all, isn't there still the shuttle bay deck that we can't visit, and couldn't BioWare just make the mission Post-Suicide to ensure her survival? And even if she couldn't come on missions, at least let us see her on the ship? Get some more romantic content?). Ultimately, however, I'm just hoping that BioWare will do what I know they're capable of, and let Shepard and Liara acknowledge their relationship.

I prefer Maleshep/Liara myself. But most in here use femshep/Liara.

Well, I was just always put off by the way most of the fan media (music videos, Deviations, fan fiction) for Shepard/Liara relationships was geared toward Femsheps. With that said, I'm also certain that the majority of Male Shepards (and indeed male players) who romance Liara are probably not interested in manifesting their appreciation in such ways. Therefore, the female gamers (and those who play as FemShep) have their voices heard more often. But I am certain that MaleShep/Liara fans are not alone.

I prefer male Shep and Liara, but that's mainly because I am male and tried to base my Shepard around myself.  I have nothing against fem Shep though, some of her lines sound a lot better than Meer's.

well now that u are getting a Liara DLC...it is only fair that we get an Ashley/Kaidan DLC,no ?alas Bioware dosen't care for the Virmire survivor.......at any rate this DLC should be fun..well it will be for me too if i will be able to play it

Yeah, maybe you should stick to your femshep fan thread. Wouldnt want your bleeding heart making a mess because of the severe persecution femshep suffers. I mean, shes only like treated identically to maleshep in game all things said and done.
