This whole MShep vs. FemShep is crap. Yes, Bw you should have put more thought into FemShep animations, among other things, but other than that, both Shepards are awesome (esp. when romancing Liara).

We don't have much to discuss anymore, bt we are about to, because Bw will probably release a short trailer of the Liara dlc, and we can go nuts with the speculation and admiration again. You know, ME 2 is an M-rated game, which means only adults should be playing it. It would be nice if some of us (myself included at times) could act with maturity, and if you disagree, here's a novel suggestion, be polite.

It could go either way, but my guess is Shepard will decide.

As for how, my guess is she'll ask you, because she's tired of making life or death choices, and want the opinion of someone she trusts, and someone that's used to making these kind of choices.

Yeah, but I don't think you'd want her decision because you know it'll be the bad one (aka every time you pick the "It's your choice", they mostly pick the bad one).

However, I think if you said that, I think she'd say, "But I can't... I need you to choose... I can't do this anymore... I'm tired of making these choices."

What do you mean by 'bad one'?  I usually don't do that, actually.

She may also not want to make the choice for more personal reasons...who knows what will happen when the SB's identity is revealed.

Example, the Council. If you pick the middle option, they die. If you ask the Council to pick a Human Councilor, I believe they pick Udina (could be wrong). If you let Tali decide, she doesn't tell whatshisname. Pretty much, anytime you give someone the choice to decide for themselves, they pick the worse of the 2, or what's worse for them.

However, if someone has any examples that prove this wrong, go right ahead. I'm no expert.

Maybe, but I think it's more of "I want your opinion at least." You're opinion of course will be what's picked, but it's the fact that she doesn't want to make this choice alone. She'd want to know what you think.

But again, it's hard to tell, because we don't know what the choice is. For all we know, it's "Hey Shepard! The Shadow Broker got away, but we have his Bank Account! What should we do?"

1) Give it to charity

2) Make a small business

3) Buy your own planet

I think if you let Grunt decide if he wants to join clan Urdnot, he does pick this. 

Also, at the end of his loyalty mission, if you let him decide if he wants to join Uvenk, he says, 'no' and stays loyal to Urdnot...so, Grunt knows what he's doing.

I think the Broker is one person. In the comic, the Collector is speaking with one individual who has a dialog bubble pointing off-page that represents the Shadow Broker.



But, yeah, all squad mate loyalty missions ended with Shepard being able to influence each one to do something or not do something, so this will be no different.

What's your thoughts on the Broker being someone that's passed from peron to person, and Feron is just just trying to get his position back, because the new guy is doing disturbing things?

That's another possibility too, which may provide a reason for Liara's hesitance or reluctance to make a decision at the end.  As I said, that would make it personal, as she was friends with Feron (don't kill me!).

Why would he allow himself to be caught by the new SB, though?  Or, was that not part of his plan?
