I'm under the impression that the matron stage can be triggered more or less when the asari feels like it, so a Shep/Liara kid isn't impossible. It doesn't bother me, but then I'm not quite so invested in the romance.

But, I don't know if 100 years early is feasible with frequent melding, or if it only shaves a few decades off the Maidan stage.

Like J said, I actually doubt that Liara frequently melding will trigger the Matron stage hundreds of years early, especially considering the fact that Liara is atypical of other asari so far in that she has not melded at all.
Plus, I don't want to wear her out!
