Sure, with one change.
I doubt they would use the ME1 class name for her passive.
If she is a temp squad mate, I'm sure her bonus will be unlocked already (as there is no loyalty mission to unlock it), and if the dlc is post suicide mission, she will be at a pretty high level already.

Why would you say that? Tali remained a "Quarian Machinist" in ME2. What's to stop Liara remaining an Asari Scientist? She is wearing her labcoat, after all...
But yeah, that's what I insinuated regarding Liara's powers. Her "loyalty" power will be already unlocked and available for use as soon as she is acquired.
