One other thing that I would like to see in this DLC besides Liara showing her power and combat abilities is one cutscene with Shepard and Liara fighting side by side just the two of them I would really like to see something like this.

Goodnight Lizard!

It does appear that there is a dead asari at Tali's feet in the one DLC screenshot.

See the blue head fringes, feminine hips...

I wonder if there's any significance to that?

Probably not. I imagine it will just be one of the SB's goons, who also happens to be an asari.

I've heard the Liara's father theory, and as ridiculous as that sounds, I think it's entirely. Liara speculates that she's probably a pureblood because Benezia's partner was an asari, and writes it off by saying Benezia was embarrassed. But what if Benezia was secretive because she knew she was impregnated by the SB and simply didn't want Liara to know the truth? It makes some sense, really; Asari live for 1000 years, that's a very long time the SB can gather contacts, information, and various deals. Also, Liara has a flair for being an information broker, maybe that's a trait from her father? And I think it'd be cool if the only person who can find the SB is the Shadow Broker's progeny.

I think it's just a dead goon. Really.  No need to go all Joseph Campbell-y over a dead goon.

I've heard this theory too...it's possible that if the SB is Liara's father, she is doing all this to Liara to prepare her to take over the family business one day, so to speak.

That would definitely explain...

1) Why the SB hasn't outright killed Liara.

2) Why it has been so easy for Liara to locate the SB and move against her.

3) How Liara was able to become so influential and powerful in only 2 years.

Many eclipse mercs are asari and in Kasumi misson they have uniforms different from the normal yellow so that can a a merc. The way the image is presented with Liara and the others ignoring that body I would say that is not important but maybe I'm wrong.

I joked at the idea that the Shadow Broker made a bunch of Liara clones, and that's one of them.

All of this does seem to make some sense.  At least we wouldn't have to hear any more of people saying her pops is Matriarch Aethyta, or Aria, right?

I hope that the SB is not Liara's father especialy if all this was a way  to prepare Liara to take her place I know that Liara would never acept that but I would not like to know that Liara have been manipulated all this time.

I actually think it'd be an interesting twist.

Another clue: When asking TIM about Liara near the beginning of the game, he says that he hears she's working for the SB and is not to be trusted. Maybe TIM knows the truth about Liara and the SB, and is trying to keep Shepard away from the inevitable showdown or "changing of the guard," and more focused on the mission. And you would think TIM would know that Liara turned her back on the SB and gave Shepard's body to Cerberus. Hey, if anyone already knows the truth, it's TIM. His contacts rival that of the SB, he seems to have a great deal of intel on everything.

Or, TIM flat out lied about Liara and wanted you to distrust her in order to push you away from her, as he's an evil manipulative psycho...

He's not an evil manipulative psycho, he's a...misunderstood manipulative psycho!

And I don't know if he straight up lied, because I think Liara is the only one whom he tells you to specifically stay away from her, while all the others are just vague responses.

He asks Shepard if she is seperated and ready to leave her past behind her, or something to that extent. TIM wants Shepard to be distant from her old friends and comrades.

Hell, he even leaks to the Alliance that Shep is working with Cerberus, and manipulates events so that Shep will encounter Ash or Kai on Horizon, which results in them flying into a rage. He wants Shep's old friends to distrust her, or her to distrust them.

I agree TIM would not want that Shepard got distracted with anything much less with helping Liara with the SB because this would mean a huge distraction from his misson. So he lies in order to make Shepard distrust Liara and keep him way from her but he failed.

And if Liara ME2 story has something good is that shows that Liara was capable of hunt someone as powerful as the SB alone and be suceseful I would hate to see that all this time she was just being manipulated by the SB.

Ya, he straight up lied, on more than one occasion. Lied about Liara, lied about the Collector trap, and he knew too much about the Collector base before anyone ever seen it.

Good night Shavon!

I'm really hoping that in this DLC Liara meld with Shepard so he could know everything that happened to her since he was dead. I prefer that Shepard see what happened insted of just ear about it I think it would be more emotional like this Shepard would have an perfect idea of what Liara has gone trought.
