Support Liara T'Soni for ME3 - Squadmate and LI

At some point, Liara suffers a serious injury - possibly a limb. Fortunately, modern medicine combined with asari regenerative capabilities means that she will heal - just not soon enough. She will be available in ME3, possibly from the beginning.

On another note, the chance of alternate/additional dialogue for those who romanced her is quite high, seeing as BioWare had to recall Hale/Meer and Hills to record this DLC anyway. It would make absolutely no sense at all to exclude romantic content, even if it is only dialogue (although you can't, as I've said countless times, trust a game developer to do what makes sense, even BioWare). But I am counting on Mass Effect's writers to come through for us. And if any studio can, it is BioWare.
My only concern is for those that also have chosen an ME2 romance...I don't think they will have the romance confrontations in DLC, especially considering that Liara can have a confrontation with all six ME2 LIs.
They also cannot force these Shepards into romantic situations with Liara if they truly do not want to be with her anymore. This is why I think they will just take an easy way out, and not have much romance dialog.
But, you still could be right, in the sense that there will be content, but for only those that stayed faithful...there's an easy check for that (is the picture turned down, or face up?) and those not faithful to Liara will get the cold shoulder, even if they have since changed their mind and do want to continue the romance with Liara and ditch the ME2 LI...they will just have to wait until ME3 for the epic 'romance confrontation scene' where they can pick Liara again, or replay ME2 and not romance the ME2 LI.

I want to say my idea... but I don't want to give it out because it's personal. But I think you'll get 3 different end scenes. One if you romanced her, and didn't move on, that goes 2 ways. One if you moved on, that goes 2 ways. And one if you never romanced her, that goes 2 ways.

I haven't been on the forums a while, but my interest is turning back to ME 2 now that a Liara DLC is coming out. Since this thread is huge, could someone give me the long and short of the theories at the moment: do you think Liara will be a temporary squadmate in this DLC? Do you think that the romance will be continued, or will Bioware blow it off until ME 3?
Thanks everyone who answered my questions and gave their theories: sorry I couldn't respond sooner! But did they bring back the VAs for this DLC? I thought hackers had already found the dialogue hidden in the original game files?
Personally, I doubt Liara will come with Shepard after the DLC. She will probably find a computer or something with the Shadow Broker's info on it and "Stay to search through the files." I don't see Bioware taking the time to incorporate her into the rest of the game, especially the suicide mission, just to appease fans, as this would be very complicated and cost a lot more money. I'd also guess that there would be one or two comments about previous romances, but no major dialogue until ME3, like a lot of people are suspecting.

You might be right...they may take all the different romance statuses into consideration and Shepard may have different options to consider. The only thing they cannot do (IMO) is involve the ME2 LI...whatever will happen romance wise in this DLC will be just between Liara and Shepard.

Liara, yeah...she and the Shepard that I role play ME with once had a great thing going on between them...some kind of beautiful and epic romance.
It turned awkward in ME2. But that's expected when one of them comes back from the dead after two years, and the other one is partially responsible for it.

This should happen at the conclusion of the DLC:
I would get somewhat freaked out if Liara turned up in my cabin in commando gear like Morinth.
Even more freaked out if she sat that way and gave me the creepy sex look.
And totally freaked out if she said "Tell me you want me, tell me you will kill for me. Anything I want".

I think it may even be sexy if Liara did it...it's not like she can kill you like Morinth can.
Sexy?
Sexy like this?

Morinth totally digs Shepard.

Yeah, except with Liara instead of Morinth.
I don't think Morinth 'digs' Shepard...she just needs to feed!

Nah. Morinth totally loves Shepard, Liara will have a hard time competing with her. Unless of course Liara developles her own mind-controling powers.
And jugding by this topic she's already done that.

Does it seem that Asari spend their first century or so as unimaginably sweet and innocent little nymphs, and then become ****-queens from hell? Couldn't help but feel it's something of a life-path for the species.
Um...no.
