Me too, Night. And Miranda could have commented on Miranda's quest to take out the SB, etc. I mean, I'm grateful that I have so much to play with for fanfic, but this kind of thing should have been in the game.

I hate it when Liara goes, "Shepard, did Cerberus ever tell you how they acquired your body?" and Miranda just stands there in the background like a vacant mannequin.

Even if they were not able to get both Yvonne and Ali back into the studio together, would a simple glance at each other, or some kind of nod have been that hard to implement? After all, that shows that they are acquainted and that they know each other.

A terrible oversight.

Yes, it's quite uncomfortable for all parties.

Well, I thought that it is possible they recorded some of the VA for this while they were recording it for ME2. It seems they have been planning and working on LotSB for awhile, and they might have had the foresight to get some of the ME2 VAs (like Yvonne) to do a few lines for it.

The optimist in me dictates that the reasoning behind what appears to be such a terrible oversight is that this interaction between the characters is being saved for the Liara DLC, which obviously ties into Redemption. Of course, there was plenty of dialogue and interaction between Liara and Miranda there, so perhaps it is being saved for when we finally acquire Liara's full ME2 role at last?

Just a look would've been great.

For me, when characters like this fail to acknowledge each other, it's a real immersion-breaker. Gaping holes appear in the reality of the game and you want to wince and look away.

Exactly. The fact that both Garrus and Tali stand there and say absolutely nothing whilst Wrex warmly and enthusiastically greets Shepard is terrible!

Omg I know.

I try to force some Garrus/Wrex interaction by having Garrus with me when the third party comments on Grunt's puberty. "Puberty? Can't we just take him to Omega?"

But somehow it makes it worse that Wrex responds to Garrus like any other stranger on your team.

I hope that is the case, and I actually think it is extremely likely if most of the Liara DLC was developed concurrently with the rest of ME2, as I theorise to be the case. That's also why I believe that a few BW devs have stated that this DLC is the most substantial, expansive and generally the best DLC pack that they've ever produced. It's due to the fact that it has been in development for a long period of time, and that the development team have tried their utmost to get it 100% right.

Why didnt they put more dialog in? No VOs or something?? Having Garrus or Tali shake hands would have been fine too. I do like the tone Wrex has when he does see Shep though. Went alot better with him then Liara/Kai/Ash combined.

I get the impression that BW perceives "You're with Cerberus now? Garrus too?" and "Dammit Kaidan/Williams, you're so focused on Cerberus that you're ignoring the real threat!" as sufficient enough interaction between former squadmates, and then largely forgot about it and moved on.

Can you believe that people actually bashed Liara for not acknowledging Garrus and Tali? Stupid. It's a problem with BW's content implementation, not Liara as a character.

Really? I guess people should be bashing Wrex too then! <_<

Also the pessimist inside me tell me that at best there will be acknowlegdement from Liara that Miranda/Tali/Garrus is in the team (like Dr. Archer acknowlegde Legion during overlord) But They (The 3 squadmates) won't have any dialog themselves. At best a handshake or something that won't require dialog.

I blame Bioware, not Liara. They give us these wonderful characters, but don't let them interact.

Blasphemous.

I don't know why they did that. Wrex doesn't acknowledge former squaddies either. Weird.

Wrex isn't an easy target for morons like Liara is.

Lizard, what you're suggesting is very likely, I believe. Vocal acknowledgement from Liara of Miranda/Garrus/Tali is very possible as it was obviously necessary for Ali to record new lines for this DLC, as Liara is featured prominently and is the main focus. However, it is not necessary to call Yvonne, Brandon and Liz back into the recording studio, as they are not the main focus of this DLC. Considering that fact, vocal acknowledgement from Liara is a distinct possibility, whereas a physical response from one of the three aforementioned characters is more likely.

Of course, I'd prefer there to be fully voiced dialogue.

Mass Effect was never great on party banter in the first place, so I am not surprised. Dragon Age, of course, is a great example of banter.

Mass Effect was never great on party banter, but something no matter how small and insignificant would have been nice.

Exactly. However, some misguided individuals wrongly used that fact as ammunition with which to bash Liara, calling her "cold-hearted", "distant", "blind" and the like.

Plus, you have to consider getting the dubbed versions of those actors together for lines as well.

Wrex was a Walters character, wasn't he?

Obviously Mac didn't feel the need to destroy his character.

I wonder if they're tired of us throwing Dragon Age up to them yet.

They've spoiled us rotten.

Honestly, ME1 actually had very poor party banter. ME2 had even less than that. They're starving me. And dehydrating me.

Need... water...

So people are expecting that this a simple DLC to be everything that ME2 wasn't?

I really hope that they use this DLC to correct some mistakes but I doubt it.

I will be happy if we have some romance interaction with Liara and Shepard and I hope that they focused their atention in this and Liara character everything else in this DLC for me don't mater but of corse I wouldn't mind to see some good party coversations.

Yes, Wrex is Walter's character.
