I think it fits very nicely, especially with Liara's story.

I forsee being able to re-romance Ash and Kaidan too.  This could also be interesting...you have it starting out as a friendship, the friendship is torn up and they are upset you are working for Cerberus, then finally the two come together romantically in ME3 after all the stress their friendship had endured.

I have a few other Shepard's, but only one of them I consider the real one. Mostly because the way the story unfolds in the other version feels wrong for some reason I can't put my finger on.

Apparently, I'm the one with the problem. I've turned Liara down. On my last playthrough I "cheated" on her and am not looking forward to making a decision in ME3.

No, my Shepard was mean to Kelly during the first convo.  She was kind of in a bad mood, after being brought back from the dead and forced to work with Cerberus.  She was mean to Ken and Gabby too.

I used to be the type that did all the romances just for the sake of being a completionist, but I've grown out of that for some reason.

The only reason Liara wasn't my first/only ME1 romance was the same reason Leliana wasn't my first in DA, she wasn't there first! If Bioware would just introduce the 'romance for me' first I'd only need to play these games once.

No, not really.

I only have 2 Shepards. A Fem Shep, and a Male Shep. Fem Shep's my Role Play character, and Male Shep is my "me playing me" character, aka the canon. Though Fem-shep is also a canon playthrough (since if I do something that doesn't make me happy, I delete the playthrough after finishing it), she's more of an experimental character. But the Male Shep I treat more seriously, which is why I can't play him till Liara's DLC comes out, because I'm split between Tali and her. Thus, my male shep has been waiting in Liara's office for 3 or 4 months.

I literally find it impossible to play either game without Liara's romance active. Yeah, I am that far gone.

It wasn't easy...

But a Liara/Miranda catfight is the last thing I want to see in ME3.

I have only one Shepard atm, and I'm kind of making a new one just in case the Liara romance can be started from scratch in ME3.



I don't like to 'play me'....I'm boring...I like to create a new character and play as them.

I only did it in the hopes that it would end with them both dumping him. I adore both ladies to pieces, but I can't stand Shep, so I regard that as a positive outcome.

Garrus or Udina? no problem
But others (like Kelly)...
