Without Shepard there is no hope against the reapers the the SB is just a puppet is Liara break the puppet the reapers will find another the same thing with the collectors. And yes Shepard is much more important than the data even if it's not certain that he will return and I bet that Liara already suspected that cerberus had plans for Shepard body before they tell her.

Bull****. One man can be replaced if Bioware allowed someone to step up. In the whole galaxy, one corpse is important to bring back from the dead. That's just plain wrong.

Yeah the racnhni will trust and follow any one that appears asking for help, the next person will have the krogan leader as friend, the geth will see any other person as an ally against the reapers when only Shepard have defeated one of then yeah Shepard is very easly replaced.

Oh, like hell Cerberus is bringing back Shepard for those reasons.

I do feel that it is consistent with Liara's characterisation that she feels guilty over Feron's sacrifice, and that she also feels somewhat obliged to save him, or at least learn of his fate. After all, the guy willingly sacrificed his own freedom, and possibly his life, in order to assist Liara in her mission to recover the corpse. Considering Liara's compassion, a personality trait inherent to her character, she would feel that it is her duty to at least discover his fate, and feel guilty to a certain degree over what happened to him.

I know that it is consintent with Liara character to feel guilty over Feron but she has no reason to feel guilty or responsible for his fate and I hope that in the DLC we have the oportunity to show this to Liara.

He did everything for a reason that was bigger then saving a dead body. And he was sorry for it, because he's sorry she'll never trust him. And after getting the data, he was willing to help her full time. He even saved her life 2 times. And she left him to die for a corpse.

He get her in danger because of the mercs that came after him almost caught Liara, when he fail the shoot in Omega Tazziq almost kill her then he lead her in an unarmed ship to a SB base gurded by fighters yeah he is a real friend. And again if the SB is so important why cerberus didin't spend the four bilion hunting him? I tell you why because Shepard is more important than the data.

He didn't know about the mercs. Second, they were shooting at him with the gun situation. And last, if that was the case, then why did Tim tell Miranda that the data was more important then the corpse?

TIM did tell Miranda that the information was more important that the body but who deafeted the colllectors was the data or was Shepard and where did they spend their money was in bringing Shepard back on equip him or was acting on the data?

Who's to say they aren't doing the same with the Shadow Broker, and god knows what else?

I doubt that, since I don't think the Reapers liked loosing Shepard's body and their money... unless the Shadow Broker wanted that, since it was the only way to make it happen.

No Les, that convo is revolving around whether or not Liara should (or does?) feel guilty about what happened to Feron and how important Sheps body would have been compared to the SB data cache.

As time will tell, Shepard is more important. I agree with that. I'm just talking about from Cerberus's POV, and realistically, is a dead body more important.

Then maybe TIM wasn't lying when he said he believes Liara is working for the SB. Maybe the information Feron handed off to Liara was fixed and TIM realized this when he started looking into it. Perhaps he thinks Liara handed doctored intel off to Cerberus on purpose and doesn't trust her. I dunno, haven't thought it through much but it may account for some things.

No, they brought him back to in order for TIM to get Reaper tech. He even says so.
