IT would be awesome to have the whole ME1 crew together for a mission or 3....maybe it will happen in DLC hooking 2 to 3.

There are actually several ways in which the romance can be featured in this DLC for those that remained faithful to Liara, without tackling any consequences for cheating which will obviously be saved for ME3. One way in which that may be possible is if unfaithful Shepards were to act distant and evasive when talking to Liara, or perhaps blow her off in regards to the romance. Whereas faithful Shepards will be able to reaffirm the romance with her, and romantic content would be featured in full.

Another possible implementation is the ability to end the romance with Liara outright, which obviously removes the romance flag for ME3. I think that may also be plausible.

Having Shepard act like cold against Liara might be a good way for the cheaters feel guilty, but then they might complain over Shepard going OOC.

I just hope we can kick-start the romance again!

Having the ability to kill Liara off in the first place would be disasterous. As it would serverly compromise the ability to become a squadmate in ME3. 

Also having the ability to break off the romance? Like having Shepard go all Horizon on her?

I plan of taking a gunship loaded with rotten tomatoes out to Edmonton airspace and rain down squishy-smelly doom on Bioware execs as they leave for their cars.

I'm not saying the DLC provide the possibility to kill her, or break up the romance. I would prefer if at least the first was not possible. But what's important is that if the game provides the chance, it must not be forced upon us.

Oh, I will definitely wait and see. I know there are enough fellow Liara fans here who will buy the DLC no matter what, so opinions will be available soon enough.



ME 2 was the last time BioWare/EA got any money from me before I know what exactly the product provides. Too bad this also means spoilers, but I just have to accept that.

Do you guys think we'll see Ash/Kaidan in the shadow broker dlc?

"Lair of the Shadow Broker does, however, contain some *really* cool
stuff we haven't revealed yet so stay tuned for more details as we head
into August. And actually the very coolest part of the DLC (imho) will
be something we absolutely won't reveal in the marketing or PR, to avoid
spoiling it. I think most of you will find it to be our most satisfying
DLC release yet for ME2."

I only ask because so far they've treated the previous LIs incredibly fairly. Not that I'm one of the guys who gets their hopes up that I'll see ash/kaidan again with each DLC. But I think if they're ever going to be in a ME2 dlc, this would be it.

Xbox, but also a desktop more than capable of running the game if it came to that.

Well, an alternative is the next time you know you're going to find yourself in a hotel in the immediate future --should they offer Wi-Fi-- get the necessary resources and connect to Live there. It's not the most economic alternative, to be sure, but it's possible.
