Well I have a save tucked away right before I meet Liara to see if the DLC changes anything with that inital meeting. Sad isnt it??

Not so much sad as legitimately curious, I'd say...

Nah, that's a great idea actually...I have a save right before her first meeting...I might try the same.

I do too, Les...and in ME1 as well... before every convo, before the Locker scene, before the Illos trip.

It would be easier if they'd let you name your saves! Having to remember the chronological order of events to find the save you want is a pain. Which does mean; yes, I did it too, it's a habit.

Throwing in my two cents worth - I do too. Although it's often because I like to hear the different lines spoken by Shep and Liara, particularly the one regarding the handing of the body over to Cerberus. I just love the way Ali Hillis voices Liara in response to Shep getting angry at her (even though I feel like such a b**** saying it to her). Her voice almost breaks halfway through.....very well done, methinks!

I've never selected that dialogue choice myself (I could never get mad at Liara when she opens up like that :crying:), however I have heard the line that Liara says in response to that dialogue choice via a large audio file of every single one of Liara's spoken lines in ME2, and it is very, very well acted by Ali. Liara sounds absolutely crushed, and distraught. It's very, very emotive, and brilliantly voiced by Ms. Hillis!

I always just feel the need to add as much emotion to those scenes as possible (no matter how misplaced it may be), since so much has been missed in the execution. However, I can understand not wanting to express those kinds of feelings to Liara. She certainly doesn't deserve Shep's anger after everthing she's done for her :(

However, the voice acting is very, very good. Ali Hillis is a great voice actress.

Shepard's "forgiving" respond to her confession angers me more than the one where he hates her for what she did.

Hmmm... Is it anywhere I'd have access to it? I'm not one for "trying all the options" in dialogues but I'm intrigued to hear it now.

Of course, but that's for very different reasons. At least with that dialogue choice Shepard at least recognises Liara's sacrifice, and the fact that it has been eating away at her. The less said about Shepard's lack of comforting, intimate dialogue, though, the better...
