To summarise, Liara may not be killable in ME3 as she may provide a link back to the original trilogy in any game set centuries after ME3.

If future events go down the paths I've been considering to be the most likely, Liara will probably be stepping into some important role in asari politics in ME3. A prodigy leader, if you will.
And if this is the case, then there will most likely be some point where Shepard talks her out of her reluctance of going down the path her mother wanted her to. S/he will be able to influence Liara as either a Paragon or a Renegade.
And should she survive the events of ME3, then perhaps we could see the results of Shepard's influence in the way she deals with politics as either a Matron or Matriarch.

This also brings up another interesting discussion. Just what will Matriarch Liara look like? What will her occupation be? How much influence will she possess? How powerful will she be? How much political clout will she have? Will she attempt to introduce progressive reforms to asari society and culture, as I believe?
I'm sure she'd look like Benezia did in ME1, except I don't think her face would look as hollow and sunken as Benezia's did (I think this was due to the indoctrination).
I think she will eventually also follow Benezia's footsteps and become a leader of the asari people. She will be extrememly influential and powerful, given the glorious reputations she has been earning since age 106.
I agree that she will also try to introduce reforms...she will probably be the one to lead this.

Additionally, Liara is also already in possession of a great deal of influence and political clout, and is obviously renowned as the asari that helped stop Saren. In such a relatively short life so far, she has accomplished so much. Given that, she will hold alot of influence and can use her power to do good deeds, which I think she will.

I can definitely see the similarities there.

I believe. In a way, it would be interesting to see Liara ultimately follow in Benezia's footsteps, although becoming a much more benevolent and virtuous ruler and influential figure in asari society. This is of course not implying that Benezia was "bad" in any way.
I think Benezia was always a benevolent and virtuous ruler, if you believe what Shiala and Liara said about her. Plus, Benezia was pushing for the Asari to become more involved in galactic politics. Benezia did also take a huge risk when she set out to initially stop Saren. Of course, that backfired.
So if Matriarch Liara does as most believe here, she will be following most definitely in Benezia's footsteps, hopefully without her career ending with indoctrination and death.

Of course, and I attempted to avoid implying that wasn't the case with that sentence in my post, which obviously failed.
I mean, just listen to how remorseful she sounds when she mentions that she was not gentle in extracting the location of the Mu Relay from the Rachni Queen. Benezia was a peaceful woman.

I wonder if her being a "pureblood" would have an effect on how much influence she could have, Asari culture is a bit vague to me but it does have a stigma attached to it.
Maybe, but I don't think any discrimination against purebloods is institutionalised to that extent. After all, Benezia remained a powerful, renowned and influential Matriarch with many disciples despite the fact that she mated with another asari in order to give birth to Liara.

It could contain a load of diffrent (and all interesting) stories for the games. What I would be curious about is what Liara's future would contain in a pro-human/pro-cerberus Shepard timeline where humanity ultimativly seizes control of the galaxy.
Perhaps she become some sort of speaker for the asari people, doing her best to protect the Asari from futher harm. She would cooperate with the humans as a result, but I could imagine she would have hard time acomplesing anything, not because of incompetence, but simply because the humans have the power. Perhaps the other Asari sees her as somebody who sold her race out just to put her self in a position of power?
Could be interesting.

Well, "The Beach" was an episode that focused mainly on the antagonists of the series. An episode that gave them extra dimmension and depth. And also an antagonist taking another step towards joining the cause of the protagonists.
Perhaps this means there will be some expose on the Reapers in coming DLC?
Or we will be playing as the villains in future? Ala Darkspawn Chronicles? But this time we're doing something that the characters believe to be the right thing instead of just killing everyone?

So.... We will get more info on the Reapers, and SB might want to join Shepard?

Or we'll be able to see more of the Shadow Broker's prospective. Or maybe the Geth.

Honestly? I have no idea. The tweet was very vague and could mean several different things, or could be translated into several different messages.
