Like I said before I hope that this DLC is something similar to the SM so Liara will be with us in some parts of the DLC but in others she will be doing other things in other places and I prefer this way because Liara can assume a more important role to the story this way instead of just folow Shepard, but I also hope that the final confrontation with the SB is a batle with just Shepard and Liara.
Just watch, you'll find Feron at some point and she'll decide to run off with him to fight and your squad can be a 'diversion team' or something like that.

I imagine Liara will "split up" with you for the mission, keeping in contact with a radio and "joining up" for cutscenes.
That's what I think will happen too.

I belive that we will find Feron and like in the SM someone will escort him to the ship because he will not be in condition to fight once in the ship he will act as guide for both Liara and Shepard team nothing more.Like I said I belive that the final confrontation will be just Liara and Shepard against the SB while everyone else is holding the rest of the SB forces.
The fact that Liara and Shepard would be alone against the SB will create the oprotunity for some very dramatic moments.

I imagine if Liara is recruitable..this will be the last major DLC. She has nowhere to go but your cabin. So, like others, I believe she will be a voice in your headset except to be in cutscenes.
She could always be temporarily recruitable, but I don't think they will do this. She'll have some cool cutscenes (hopefully) and will talk to you, as you said.

6 squadmembers, all of whom are potentially dead and therefore irrelevant to ME3's plot, would require much, much more resources even if it was just incorporating them as romanceable cameos. And I think cameos are about all those fans can hope for because there won't be 6 fan-service sqaudmembers unless, as I said earlier, their roles (dialogue, quests, etc) are all severely cut short.
I do indeed think they might cut their roles short (compared to Liara, for example), as they can possibly be dead...do you think most fans will care, though? They will just be happy their fave LI is back.
I don't think each squad mate is going to have a huge loyalty quest like in ME2. Plus, Tali and Garrus' ME2 dialog isn't that much anyway, if you don't romance them.
Tali and Garrus's recruitment/loyalty missions, when combined, are among the longest and most elaborate, though. I would say that they probably had more effort put in than, say Grunt.
Tali's sequence of missions introduces and/or expounds upon some elements that will probably be relevent to ME3, but the same cannot be said of Garrus.

To my shame, put me down in the not caring camp. My situation is complicated by Miranda's VA. I'm not sure wat that does for her chances. I just wabt a chance to have her and Liara in the same squad.
What has Strahovski done to worry you?

Yeah, that's true. Tali's mission introduces relevant elements, but she's not needed in ME3 in order to cash in on them.
I still think potentially dead squad mates will have less dialog than Liara for example, if they bring them back as squad mates. I could be wrong...who knows.

Psyched that ME2 will actually get an honest DLC for a change. Who do you think the Shadow Broker is? Could it be Liara's "father"?
Could be...could be anyone really. I'm thinking it will definitely be a new character, though...it won't be anyone we know of already.
Though, some think it's Feron.
The Liara's father thing could be interesting, though we would have to then suffer through Star Wars jokes

Yeah, I can't see Zombie Tali saying a whole lot. Apologies, j. Couldn't resist. :innocent:

Well, I wouldnt say shenanigans. They said news in August, that doesnt mean today. Id just rather hear some news. Its been a long time now since it was announced, so youd think they wouldnt want to keep it too long with just a simple announcement to keep interest going.
