Yup, thats what were hoping for. Since they started to answer the question "why arent the ME1 LIs in ME2" with "they are saved for ME3" towards the end of ME2s marketing, youd logically expect thats precisely what Bioware were going for with ME3.

I certainly hope so. Its one of my "decides if I purchase or not" aspects for ME3.

I must admit that i'm shocked over Bioware's lack of interviews made regarding this DLC. You would think they would use this chance in order to make some PR stunt to satisfy us angry Liara-fans.

The DLC isnt about sating angry Liara fans. Its clearly about content that was always going to be developed. With the suggestions that it was already going to be in game, and then shifted to planned DLC early on, I dont think Liara fans being completely unsatisfied by her role makes any difference. Maybe when we actually A) see the DLC content, and see some VS DLC (because they are in virtually the same situation) it could be looked at this way.

Generally though its DLC, and why waste money promoting this stuff when the idea is to keep things cheap and extra?

Hopefully well get an interview that teases some more, and a few more screenshots, maybe finally with a video on the site, but on the whole I think most DLCs kinda keep low key.

Besides, making good on the claim that Liara will be hugely important for ME3 (i.e. squadmate) would be the best way really. That way they show they had this planned all along, as opposed to ME2 giving the impression of a bodge job deliberately designed to make players resent the ME1 LIs.

Gonna go do a few things now, but since its a weekend, so naturally slow, hopefully this will be a stark contrast to this week if Bioware release some more info. Would be nice to get a handle on just what kind of experience LOTSB might offer.

It seems obvious that the DLC was planned for a long time. But Bioware must know that alot of Liara fans were let down by her terrible cameo, so i would imagine that they were going all "oh look! We making Liara-DLC because we really care about the character" when it was revealed.

I dont think its going to be the size of a full expansion pack, but yeah, Im hoping its longer and filled with more content than Overlord. Overlord was good, but it would be nice to have something that isnt a couple of hours long, with most of it being action.

Still, its all just a reason to hope this week well be getting some more info.
