I would have been fine if FemShep had a Bastila style voice........I reeealllly would have.

Ah, no...I don't want my Shepard sounding like a pompous Jedi.

Ouch =]
I don't even know if Liara knows what are candlelights . She is going to freak out if Shepard starts a fire in their room .

WHoops... it's not "their" room .

To each their own I suppose.
Besides I liked "post fall EVIL Bastila better than pompous Jedi Bastila" just to clairfy.

No, and I don't think it ever will be, though some are hopeful that Liara will take up residence in the Captain's Cabin post DLC.   I'm thinking...no.  She will go back to her office....especially if this DLC can be completed pre-suicide mission (which would be stupid, IMO).  Liara stated that she needs time to go through all of Nyxeris' data.  Delaying LotSB until after the suicide mission would give the player a proper sense of time passage, IMO.

Allowing the player to rush of to do LotSB right after completing the Observer quest is kind of dumb, given that Liara states specifically that it will take some time to go through all the data left by Nyxeris.

I loved Hale as Bastila, don't get me wrong...I like anything Hale does.  I just don't want Bastila as Shepard.  I like what Hale does now with it.

Point.
I guess I just really miss Kotor.
In fact I miss Kotor about as much as I'm excited for ME3.

I don't really feel excited for anything after today's news... and lack of news on the DLC.

ME3 feels so far away, but LotSB will at the very least provide with some good gameplay. Hopefully.

I'm still excited....there's still three more days left this week.  If we don't hear anything at all by the end of the week, though, I will start to be very unhappy.

This is sort of off topic (Look at the the picture, I support Liara T'Soni) but I was curious to see if anyone here believes that ME 3 will be release before late 2012.

I would expect early 2012, maybe even late 2011.  I think they've stated they will not make major changes to the combat system, like they did in ME2, so it may not take more than 2 years.

Hey. Not much talking be done lately. Guess folks are still focused on the PS3 fiasco.

Personally Im still not bothered. ME3 was always going to do nearly ****** all with ME1s decisions. Besides the possibly of PS3 players getting the DLC weve all paid for for free and meaning Bioware has ripped us off like a bunch of scum bags, Im not interested. Really, Im just slightly miffed that when it looked like yesterday would be a good day for information, its been a month and still nothing.

Still, I suppose we can hope Bioware have actually put enough effort in to this DLC that its more than worth the wait. Im still waiting on a DLC that truly impresses me. The stuff so far has been good enough, if still flawed, but Im still hanging on being pleased with this new DLC.

Its either that, or it will probably spell out some big no-nos for ME3 in my books, and finish off my interest in this series. Either way its a win-win I suppose, because it would mean no more waiting and wondering if it doesnt hint at a full ME3 return, but rather a support role.

It's a pitty that microsoft still holds rights to ME1. Because porting only ME2 seems totally pointless and endangers the possibility of ME1 choices mattering in ME3. Had Bioware released a ME1/ME2 game for the PS3 (using the advantage of blueray) then I would have given Bioware my full support regarding it.  But releasing only the second part seems like a lame move by Bioware.

As for the free content that PS3 owners get. I bet it's nothing more than CN+Kasumi+Overlord and perhaps LOTSB. So I can live with it.

The choices were never going to impact the game that much. It will no doubt operate in a virtually identical way to ME2, where the game remains completely unchanged but for the smallest of tweaks at various points. ME2 going to PS3 changes nothing ultimately. They were already operating on a "players who havent played the first game come first" mentality to begin with, the PS3 port now only adds that bit of extra jutification.

Liara DLC: Worst Case Scenario

Liara: I've always loved you... since the day we first met...

Shepard: I have a lot on my mind... can you explain why you love me?

If we are still sharing our Shepard/Liara stories, I made a new Shepard yesterday.

Amelia Shepard Colonist/War Hero

Devastated by the loss of her family on Mindoir, Amelia joined the Alliance and vowed to one day make those responsible pay for the murder of her family. Upon joining the Alliance, it was discovered that she had biotic potential, and she immediately underwent the implant surgery, then rigorous biotics training. She eventually became the strongest biotic in the Alliance. This fact coupled with her 'War Hero' status, gave her some leeway with the Alliance brass, and she often avoided punishments for insubordination.

As for morality, she is fairly Renegade. She believes eliminating wrongdoers takes precedence over saving innocents. Her MO is to make the galaxy a better place by eliminating the wicked....she is similar to Samara in a way, but she follows her own Code instead of one created by others. She would never harm an innocent for her own gain, but will if she can eliminate a terrorist (she will kill Balak and sacrifice the hostages, for example). She distrusts aliens, but also humans. She is just a biotic ball of anger and hatred, fueled by what had happened to her as a teenager on Mindoir.

Amelia does eventually develop feelings for Liara, even though she wasn't too fond of her in the beginning, and didn't trust her. She is drawn to Liara, since she is the only one on the team that really questions her moral judgments...that makes her think about some of the things she has been doing these past years. This frightens and angers Amelia at first, but she grows to respect Liara for it and then finds it even endearing. Not only Liara's strength and courage, but her compassion and empathy for others drew Amelia to her.
