If we are still sharing our Shepard/Liara stories, I made a new Shepard yesterday.

Amelia Shepard Colonist/War Hero

Devastated by the loss of her family on Mindoir, Amelia joined the Alliance and vowed to one day make those responsible pay for the murder of her family. Upon joining the Alliance, it was discovered that she had biotic potential, and she immediately underwent the implant surgery, then rigorous biotics training. She eventually became the strongest biotic in the Alliance. This fact coupled with her 'War Hero' status, gave her some leeway with the Alliance brass, and she often avoided punishments for insubordination.

As for morality, she is fairly Renegade. She believes eliminating wrongdoers takes precedence over saving innocents. Her MO is to make the galaxy a better place by eliminating the wicked....she is similar to Samara in a way, but she follows her own Code instead of one created by others. She would never harm an innocent for her own gain, but will if she can eliminate a terrorist (she will kill Balak and sacrifice the hostages, for example). She distrusts aliens, but also humans. She is just a biotic ball of anger and hatred, fueled by what had happened to her as a teenager on Mindoir.

Amelia does eventually develop feelings for Liara, even though she wasn't too fond of her in the beginning, and didn't trust her. She is drawn to Liara, since she is the only one on the team that really questions her moral judgments...that makes her think about some of the things she has been doing these past years. This frightens and angers Amelia at first, but she grows to respect Liara for it and then finds it even endearing. Not only Liara's strength and courage, but her compassion and empathy for others drew Amelia to her.

Sounds like a good backstory.

Anyone taking bets that one of the "collectible items" you can get from this DLC is a coffee cup? It could sit next to Shepards old N7 helmet.

I'm actually hoping for a new couple picture, which will be put in the blank one.

While Im not sure about a "couple" picture, isnt there an empty picture frame on the desk with the N7 helmet? It would be pretty nice getting another picture of your LI.

Cant imagine its likely though. Personally at this stage Im trying to keep my expectations low, and would be surprised if there is much content outside of the mission itself, despite hoping this is a pack that is getting close to a full blown expansion, even if its not quite there.

This rumor that the Liara DLC won't be set after the Suicide Mission has me really worried about the quality and overall impact of LOTSB in general. Posted Image

Im expecting a souped up version of what the audio files suggest. Obviously not a word for word usage, but perhaps sticking along the same principles.

If thats how it turns out, Im a little relieved because it might be something that offers more Liara content, but not without ruining that "on hold till ME3" deal.

Id much rather have than that a massively important and expansive DLC that could make the writers consider it worth screwing whatever chance she has of being a squadmate in ME3 (if she is even one for ME3).

Of course, Ill probably live to regret that if, come ME3 she isnt to have a squadmate role anyway, but what the hell.

Yeah, if it's true then it's another disapointment from Bioware.

"EDIT" Weren't you supposed to tell us your dream-version of LOTSB Indigo? :police:

Crap. I forgot. I still have to write it up. And I'd do it right now, but I'm working on my current Witchblade/Mass Effect crossover artwork, and I have to meet a deadline with it.

I will try my best to do a write up of my dream-version of the Liara DLC.

Have seen it before! I like it.

Anyway just completed a ME2 playthrough on 8 hours. And I feel like sharing the choices I made.

-Got everyone execpt Kasumi and Zaeed killed

-Sold Legion to Cerberus

-Chose to go after Vido instead of saving workers

-Kolyat will become an assassin due to lack of interfering

-Tali didn't show up at trial (due to death), Qurians will proberly destroy lab ship and continue to be undecided on what to do/Find evidence of Rael's betrayel and become seperated

-Sidonis is still alive and depressed

-Oriana will be kidnapped by her father, Cerberus personal unlikely to help due to Miranda quiting Cerberus in her last moments

-Maelon will continue to work on curing the genophage, clan Werloc might cure the genophage and ignite a new
Krogan rebillion

-Wrex and clan Urdnot political status greatly weakend due to both clan Werloc and Uvenk being around and kicking

-Hock is still in the possion of the greybox

-Morinth still alive and seducing young men and women left and right

-Grunt died before he could become an adult

-Jacob's father & crew still stuck on the planet

-Heretics will infect true Geth due to Legion's critical mission failure

-Destroyed Collector base

-Half of the Normandy's crew got turned into smoothies

My question is:

How many angry emails will my Shepard recieve?

I really think the impact of those decisions be negligable. Maybe Bioware will still make them problems in ME3, so it "references" your decisions, but I think the impact will only "alter the tone", which I believe is how Bioware likes to talk about it.

Yeah, you might have to deal with these issues again, but your decisions only change who you talk to and how pissed off people are - not actually alter the core content itself.

Or perhaps youre right, and that funnily enough the area you feel the most effects of your choices is Shepards inbox, or in the news reports.....

Oh, don't worry, in ME3 they'll probably add the possibility to delete messages so you won't be haunted by the little textbits that should have been dire consequences Posted Image

Btw, cool playthrough, I'm thinking on doing something similar when I'm done with my mainsheps but try real hard to have only Morinth with me as survivor, is that even possible? Or do you need at least two survivors? Posted Image

No. You must have 2 squadmates survive the suicide mission. Or else Shepard will plunge to his death. But just have Zaeed and Kasumi survive, they are both DLC and there unlikely to return.

Damn it! I liked the idea of being alone on the normandy with a completely psycho mind-vampire and Joker...
Did you bring Zaeed and Kasumi to the final boss?

I created this playthrough with my abandoned Femshep SS (I have no interest in playing with the character since Bioware totally cocked up regard SS/Cerberus tension).

As for the reason I started the playthrough. Mostly because I want see if there really is any "dire" consequences in ME, if there truly are any then 100% victory in ME3 should be impossible with this SHep.
