Oh, don't worry, in ME3 they'll probably add the possibility to delete messages so you won't be haunted by the little textbits that should have been dire consequences Posted Image

Btw, cool playthrough, I'm thinking on doing something similar when I'm done with my mainsheps but try real hard to have only Morinth with me as survivor, is that even possible?Posted Image

No. You must have 2 squadmates survive the suicide mission. Or else Shepard will plunge to his death. But just have Zaeed and Kasumi survive, they are both DLC and there unlikely to return.

Damn it! I liked the idea of being alone on the normandy with a completely psycho mind-vampire and Joker...
Did you bring Zaeed and Kasumi to the final boss?

No here's what I did:

LOYAL SQUADMATES:
Zaeed (completed his LM after crew abduction so half the SR-2 crew would get killed)
UNLOYAL SQUADMATES:
everyone else execept Legion (sold him)

Deaths before landing:
Jack (no armor)
Tali (no shields) "REMEMBER TO BRING KASUMI TO FIGHT THE ORCULUS"
Thane (no Thannix Canons)

Deaths on base:
Jacob (tech specialist)
Samara (SR-2 crew escort) "NOTE" Crew will still survive despite givin unloyal escort
Grunt (eaten by seeker swarms due to Miranda not being able to hold bubble)
Garrus (as diversion team leader)
Miranda and Mordin (unloyal at last boss)

Play with headphones to avoid problems unless you're out for being evil.
Oh and tell your roommate (brother right?) that there must be somethin severely wrong with him Posted Image

No problem. You could recruit Morinth and send her off as crew escort. She will be taken out of the battle but will survive. And since Zaeed and Kasumi are the only other survivors, there will be a good chance that you and Morinth will be able to spend alot of :wub:quality time:wub: alone on the ship.

PS: Remember to leave Zaeed and kasumi to hold the line.
PPS: Remeber that one of them must be loyal.

New developments on that front, actually. Long story short; he wasn't serious. While he's not the hugest fan, I don't think he's actively bothered by it.

Good.....

He must still go 3 days without food and water for speaking out against the best character in the series.

Thanks again! I'll just keep away from the collectors so that the crew dies as well, empty Normandy Posted Image
Ha, quality time with Morinth always gives Shep severe headaches, you know the kind that makes you want to die...

I created this playthrough with my abandoned Femshep SS (I have no interest in playing with the character since Bioware totally cocked up regard SS/Cerberus tension).

As for the reason I started the playthrough. Mostly because I want see if there really is any "dire" consequences in ME, if there truly are any then 100% victory in ME3 should be impossible with this SHep.

Its a good idea, but you can pretty much already guarantee no ME1 choice will have such an impact on the game where it determines success or failure. They cannot give new players a default that would handicap them, and Bioware rarely make decisions with "punishing" outcomes, if ever.

When they mean "stand alone", I think its safe to say it means everything starts and finishes in ME3. Nothing starts with ME1, and gets finished in ME3 in terms of actual decisions, just possible story connections.

Its just like with ME2 and the krogan. There is a Krogan "problem" plot no matter what, all your decisions impact is the tone of how said plot plays out, not the direction.

In fairness, thats been a staple of major decisions so far. ME1 had one ending: the reapers are stopped. Its just minor variances in how thats achieved.

It doesnt bother me that much personally, but Bioware arent the great "choices and effects" storytellers they like to make out. They are pretty crap at it actually.

I have a fear your right. And if you are right, then this Shep will give me some justifacation for my hate of ME2.

Anyway i'm off to bed now. Won't be online tomorrow.

Sweet dreams.

Just something I whipped up. Trying out a new program, while relearning how to draw on the computer.

So did the shadow broker dlc get delayed or something? It's the 19th and last I knew by "early august" we were suppose to hear the release date. I figured we'd hear something from gamescom, but hmm.

PAX is in a couple weeks, maybe then?

I think release dates are dictated by Microsoft QA more so than conferences.

Major Nelson usually picks up the new Bioware DLCs a week before they're released, and they have nothing up to the 24th, so I'm guessing the 31st at the earliest, maybe September.

Let's hope that if LotSB is delayed it's so they can make sure it's freaking awesome!
If that's the case, I can wait a long time B)

Yeah, Im still hoping that, on top of what were waiting right now, this has been going on for months before as well, what with the early DLC file giveaway.

I have no problem waiting as long as its worth it. This applies to ME3 as well, but I imagine it will probably take just under two years for them to finish and release that for some reason.

I agree. I'm a little concerned because story-oriented DLC has been a little anemic.
