I have been thinking that it must be pretty hard for Ash and Kaidan fans watching lots of people anxious to hear of a release date for this DLC when they dont yet have anything to suggest Ash/Kai will feature in any DLC themselves.
Personally, Id like them to be part of a definite "bridging", post-suicide mission DLC. It would be pretty interesting to have them play a part.
Plus it would be nice to see perhaps Liara and Ash/Kai get some attention from the DLC as a part of further getting them ready for a return as squadmates in ME3. Their appearances in ME2 were pretty conclusive with the talk about "saving them for ME3" from the devs, since they basically just existed to "excuse" themselves from taking part in ME2 in any meaningful way, so it would be nice if any DLC appearances like Liara in LOTSB served as an early start on reintroducing them. I mean, I guess one way of looking at it is, would it be a good idea to go to all this trouble if she was only going to occupy another supporting role in ME3? I mean, I dont see Anderson or Aria or someone else taking a leading role in any DLC, despite the fact that they are very likely to be supporting characters in ME3.

Not much been happening really. Ive seen rumours of a September 30th release date, but really Im not concerned about it much now. Or perhaps Ive just lost interest.

post-suicide mission DLC dealing with the VS would be nice, as long as it makes it clear that they will return in ME3 (like this DLC will hopefully do).

I doubt they'll try to work Ash/Kaiden into the Shadow Broker plot, but it's pretty much a given that they'll show up later. The only reason they're covering Liara now is that she has some involvement in ME2 proper.

Hey Indigo!
Anyone else disapointed at Bioware lack of skill handeling news regarding the DLC?

I think that's one of the understatements of the new millenium.

Nah. That would be that ME2's story is slight worse than ME1's.

You know; if you ever, and I do mean ever run across a fan fic whose description reads about Shepard being "torn" between "the two loves in his life"; Tali and Liara, don't even bother reading.
It. Always. Ends. The. Same. Way.
Let me guess. Tali wins due to Liara being a crazy obssesive **** who don't gives a **** about Shepard and gives him the cold shoulder?

Sorry to butt in here and I know my opinion will probably be ignored, but I really don't want any other character to suffer the fate of Miranda.IndigoWolfe wrote...
So, speaking hypothetically, if it were a choice between Liara not being a squadmate in ME3 and her wearing a Miranda-esque outfit with heaving cleavage, which would you pick?

No, from what I've read Liara obviously cares for Shepard but --and I quote-- "Tali, your father did terrible things and you deserved better. Liara did terrible things and I deserve better."
Oh, and did I mention that in the story in question Liara and Shepard had a child? And Shepard tried to ignore the facts by bringing up the "asari promiscuity" crap?

So we have to choose between lame support role or having her character cheapend completly?
