She smiles alot more, there's alot less frowning, and she tells you she can't come with you in an almost apologetic way, rather than the snappy way she does for a non LI. BW can't leave the Liara romance like that in ME2. They just...can't.

Huh, very interesting that they actually recorded the same lines for Liara with different emotions if you were her love.

If you ever try and ask someone a question about something they can't talk about, they generally try to give you an answer in a cryptic way. (Such as when someone asks you a yes or no question you can't answer, you could say  "I cannot confirm that". Which should mean "yes" because you could have not answered the question altogether or you could have said no).
When someone (in this case BW) gives you more information then necessary (There can never be enough emotional dialogue between Liara and Shepard, but what I mean is that they could have ignored what we thought altogether and made us wait for the Expansion with no indicators from them), they are usually trying to tell you something.

I believe that is what happened with the Liara scene, BW was trying to tell us thay we have not been forgotten by adding additional parts in the scene for us.
They can't immediately come out and say, "We are going to release a Liara Expansion". But they can try to give us
indicators and hope we see and understand them.

I already thought there was going to be a Liara Expansion, but that further proves it.

Does anyone have a link to a video that shows Liara talking to a non-LI shep in ME2?  I've only seen the LI dialogue (though I suppose I wouldn't mind a link to that as well as it would be good to compare and contrast).

I got the email on the 8th, but according to the website it shipped on the 6th. But it still has taken longer than 4 days for me to get these things. I don't mean to complain so much, truthfully I really don't mind waiting.

I'm kind of hoping that once all the issues are out, they combine them into one thing and throw in some extra art and stuff.

With dlc, I'm looking forward to more potential Liara screen shots as well! There's only so many you can take of her sitting and standing in her office on Illium. I want some cool Liara action shots!!

Thats great, BW was definitely trying to give us clues.

Now we just have to wait until after the Redemption #4 comic comes and and we should start to see news soon after (if not in the actual comic itself).

More Liara is on the way!

It is true that I spent the rest of the game waiting for Liara to contact Shep due to that line.

Also I believe that tfaw lets you pay 25 cents per comic for them to put a cardboard backing in the bags.
That may help when your mailman decides to stuff your comics into the mailbox.

Sorry,  Im new to the thread but as a huge Liara fan I have a lot to say.
 
First I suspect Liara will have a big roll in ME 3 since she 1, is the only one you cant kill in either ME 1 or 2, 2, even have gotten her own comic and 3, has a lot of lose ends to tie up around her.
 
Since there are to many posts in this thread for me to read through you have to excuse me if you already have discussed this: but one of the games many “read between the lines” gives me the reason to believe that Matriach Aethyta, the bartender on Illium, is Liaras “father”.
