Is it wrong for a guy to SQUEE?
It depends on who you ask. You have LesEnfantsTerribles, that fine Englishman squees like nobody's business. As for me; well... if I end up "squee"ing, I want to save it for a really good occasion.

Wow, plenty of new info to chew on. Have to say its looking impressive so far. I am still worried about it potentially spelling out disaster for ME3, but we wont know until playing, so I guess for now its just nice to have some new great looking info.
Admit that it's the first light after a long period of darkness that started in January 29.

Oh, I think it started way before that. It started before ME2s release, when they dropped that no ME1 LIs would be squadmates in ME2.
As for the light, I think the announcement itself was that, but this new info isnt too far off I admit.
Hell, maybe we get the best of both, with the ME1 LIs being in DLC and in ME3, well have to wait and see. I certainly hope so, as that would make it a damn worthwhile wait.

Sounds interesting though. Hopefully it may highlight some more pointers for ME3 to look forward to.
Overlord felt nice in terms of not being one constant slog through repetative shooting galleries. Hopefully this follows suit.

The only downside to that blurb is the "do anything to recover the man the broker kidnapped", and its a small one at least.

Yup - I just hope we can do that in ME3 with her beside Shepard as well, and this DLC serves as a good introduction for that, rather than shooting down that hope.

Liara had a similar attitude when recovering Shepard, the thing was; she handed Shepard right over to Cerberus to be used for their own business. In her eyes, that wasn't the right thing to do, it was a betrayal. But it was what she had to do. In her eyes, she did some good, and compairable evil. She doesn't think she saved Shepard the way she could have by handing them over to Cerberus.
She wants to rescue Feron because wants to do something good. Something that matters, she wants to truly save someone. Like she could save Shepard, like she could save her mother. And maybe in so doing, she will save herself.

As for continuing the romance, its nice, but not just because its DLC, but also because of ME2 romances, Im not expecting anything close to ME1.
Ive made my thoughts on the briefness of the ME2 romances apparant, and I wouldnt be surprised to get something even shorter than that with this DLC. But like I said, since its DLC, I can understand and it doesnt stop me from being pleased to hear that. In spite of what was said, "continuing the romance" was something pretty much completely absent from ME2.

Yeah, Im just hoping it comes from a desire to correct the situation she was in where she was forced to choose between Shepard and Feron. Not that she thinks she made the wrong choice, but that she might have the chance to correct it. A slim chance was enough for her when it came to Shepard, and since that was made possible by Feron, the least she can do is try the same for him.

Unlike the ME2 LIs, Shepard-Liara have a past relationship, even if it was only 1 month long, so it is not a few talks - hit the sack ´cause we might not have another chance again most people say ME2 LIs are.
Can´t really compare as I still haven´t done any ME2 romance. Only interested in Miranda´s as Jack and Tali feel wrong and don´t care for the femShep LIs, but what I saw of Jack´s before realizing it was the love "story" felt more like therapy than anything else.

Who do you think she's doing a body scan on?

As I said earlier, I'm guessing it's either Feron or something to do with Feron. Maybe the SB is using bodies for something. An organic computer?

Possible. It does say continue, not "start" or anything else, so its possible the content could be a good continuation. Still, space is a factor. It sounds like a big DLC, but still, I wouldnt expect them to cram around 4+ conversations like the ME1 romance was, with all the cinematics and animation on top. Thats being a little too greedy.
Whatever it is, I hope they do a good job and its not in any way jeopardizing her chances of being in the ME3 squad.

It's been alot emptier since they left. But it was their own choice.
