Precisely! And the very fact that the DLC incorporates an optional continuation of the romance suggests that the content is huge. From all of Overlord, we only received two achievements. To say nothing about content length, this at least means the experience will be much richer, with so much more to offer by way of dialogue and plot.

I'm going to go w/ 3 hours of actual gameplay for this, which means BW will advertise it at 5 to 6 hours.  Now that I think of it. this may be closer to Lelian's Song than anything else so the extra $$ may be for voice actors and it will clock in around 2/3 hours.

Something occured to me; Bioware have apparently given Liara a new render, why is this I wonder? Perhaps they will be introducing her 'father' and want the resemblance to be more accurate?

Clarification; wallpaper with Liara on it. Not some stupid Shadow Broker commandos. However, Liara kicking Shadow Broker commandos asses is completely acceptable.

And Lair Of The Shadow Broker is coming out on my little brother's birthday! And the day after I'll certainly be out until after midnight. Maybe that will help me sleep.

I am so pleased with this, I cannot properly put my joy into words. All I know is, the fact that they announced the romance as 'continuable' means that it far outstrips my meagre hopes beforehand, if nothing else, and it certainly will be more than we've all bargained for.

Hello Liara Fans, if you guys wern't here 5 months ago you'll probally be wondering who the hell I am. I'll start simple: I'm HomicidalFrog, I started my account and joined the Liara Fanclub somewhere around (maybe before or after) Mass Effect 2 was coming out in January. Although I didn't join anything straight away I got to know the community first to see if I like at least 60% of the Regulars on the site.



The founders and older members of this group might remember me, if they don't they might at least think my name is familiar and my odd/bizarre/possibly mentally insane personality is also familiar.



Or they might not know at all, but they JUST might remember the Liara point of view script I written, which was basically my opinion and speculation what the events of Mass Effect Liara-Shepard romance build-up would look like if it was from Liara's POV of the Romance build-up.



If they don't remember that they will certainly not remember something else because besides making stupid and only chuckle-worthy (if that) jokes and maybe getting into a debate about Liara, there's nothing else I've done here that's note-worthy.



Btw, I'm up to date with the Liara DLC, that's the first thing I checked for when I got the internet back.

I think that's the low res ME1 model.

Still kind of divided on what they do with her skin tone and the new lighting system.  Suppose it adds to the drama, but it's weird that she's never the same color now.

It's not so much a change but more the graphics looking more realistic. Something I've noticed about modern Graphics. 3 years ago I would've looked at Mass Effect 1 and thought "Wow, these graphics are amazing. " and I still sort of do, but compared to Mass Effect 2, the graphics look terrible. Especially when you put two Mass Effect character from both games (Like Garrus) and put them next to each other.

Although Liara, looks thin and unhealthy. The cute baby face she used to have seems to have disapeared and her face is more defined possibly hinting at a loss of weight incredible loss of weight since Liara had a decent body before Mass Effect 2, she probally looks really skinny now.

Her lips don't look too healthy either, she's lost her bright purple lips and they seem to be in a dull, sort of pale dark blue. Assuming that isn't just lipstick or then again, Mass Effect 2 Asari have dark blue lips so maybe it's that.

Her cute freckles are more visible, that probally doesn't mean anything though but the graphics looking more realistic.

Her new eyes look beautiful, but they looked really dull in Mass Effect 2 without the DLC. She's probally more happier that Shepard is with her and she's going to get that bastard and finally put him in a coffee cup and as a result her mood and mental stability has effected her eyes. Maybe she got a decent nights sleep finally.(I think those two have the same eyes, but DLC Liara has more realistic eyes so you can't really tell.)

She looks something like Samara to be honest.
