I did notice the dead asari in the background here:







It seems like innocent civilians will be getting killed due to the Shadow Broker attacking Illium. I wonder how Liara will feel about this? Will she feel incredibly guilty? Blame herself for their deaths to some extent? I'm of course assuming that the Shadow Broker has sent these minions to Illium because of Liara, and these innocent people were just caught in the crossfire of the battle between the Shadow Broker's people and Liara and her people.

Because she's wearing what looks like the outfit Dr. Chakwas wears on the Normandy, and I've noticed a lot of asari civilans on Illium wear something similar.

If innocent civilians are dying, that's a good reason to bring Samara, for the sake of roleplaying. Even if she doesn't actually say anything about the matter, it's the perfect reason for her to have involvement in the mission(s).

Bringing Samara sounds like a good idea also, I approve!

But it might get akward since I also romanced her.

It seems like this takes place at an Eldfell-Ashland facility, and that asari could very well be killed by Liara herself...

Bringing Samara is always a good idea, be that to a fancy dinner party or a raging war zone, she'll be fine everywhere. Until she snaps the neck on the Mayor at the dinner party when she finds out that he/she's taking bribes of course, but that would bring us to the war zone scenario where she's a handy gal to have around anyway.

I'm thinking Garrus, Tali, Legion. Maybe Thane if he would say something about his fellow drell, Feron, but I think only Shepard and Liara will be speaking in this DLC, besides new characters.

I didn't notice that, but that still doesn't mean that this screen is not from Illium.  That could just be a door to one of their offices on Illium.   It may not have been in ME2 previously, so this might be a different area of Nos Astra.

I agree, although I likely wouldn't take Legion.  Garrus and Tali are my Shepards' buddies and have skills to offset my biotic Shepards and Liara.

It is, but I bet that the regular henchmen will be similar to any other mercenary gang we've encountered so far, in that case it's really a matter of map layout that will make the choices difficult, but I'll probably go with Miranda and Garrus to start with and then mix it up on later playthroughs.
If you mean for RP reasons it's clear cut for me: Tali and Garrus, bring the old squad together Maybe bring Grunt and pretend that he's Wrex

I'm not saying this isn't Illium. I'm saying this probably isn't the trading floor, and the dead asari may not necessarily be an innocent civilian.

I figure Tali and Garrus because they're Shepard's sort of siblings in my playthroughs. "Just like old times," and what-not. And I'd consider no one else except Legion, because Legion is just that epic. He is a freaking beast.



It is on Illium, but I think it hasn't been released yet. I think the Energy company has been metioned in the Cerberus Daily, but I'm not certain. I'll look it up.

I know, but let's assume it is an innocent civilian.   Let's assume innocents will die in Liara's war vs. the Shadow Broker.  Back to the original question...how will she feel about that?
