"Its good to see you again, Shepard."

Bah, I can't tell you how many times I heard that!

We were talking about that like a week ago. We were wondering if they were tracking how often people did what in the game. They would discover that a lot of us in this thread has visited her office at least 150 times

Yeah, I remember.

And give me the option to reunite her with her “father”…

Sorry,  Im new to the thread but as a huge Liara fan I have a lot to say.

First I suspect Liara will have a big roll in ME 3 since she 1, is the only one you cant kill in either ME 1 or 2, 2, even have gotten her own comic and 3, has a lot of lose ends to tie up around her.

Since there are to many posts in this thread for me to read through you have to excuse me if you already have discussed this: but one of the games many “read between the lines” gives me the reason to believe that Matriach Aethyta, the bartender on Illium, is Liaras “father”.

I always wondered that too, but I didnt want to think to deeply into every little thing in the game.
I wonder how others feel about that.

With dlc, I'm looking forward to more potential Liara screen shots as well! There's only so many you can take of her sitting and standing in her office on Illium. I want some cool Liara action shots!!

Yes!!!

It's moments like this that make me wish I had a PC version of ME2 instead of my 360. Oh well, it's not like I can afford a gaming computer right now.

Liara advises using PC in ME universe:wizard: it's as flexible as ...Asari are...:lol:

Welcome!  Don't worry about repeating stuff.  Even the regulars do that, and we tend to discuss a lot of the same stuff from different angles anyway.

Damn.  Well, if Liara advises it I guess I'll have to go buy a machine capable of playing the game.  Image IPB

I also believe that one we've completed Liara's DLC, you'll be able to talk to her when she's at her desk on Illium. There will be additional options as well as the existing "How's your work?", possibly to ask about the relationship. I hope!

I am wondering though if Liara and Ashley/Kaidan will be on the Normandy with Shep after the Expansion.
Which ever one was your LI will be in your quarters (Liara for all of us ) and the other one will be elsewhere on the ship.
They could act as "Kelly" type crew members who never actually go anywhere with you, but you can talk to them (especially Liara) while on the Normandy.

Would make ME3 easier, they would already be on the ship, ready to be squadmates.

Another thing too... when she says she is doing everything of her own free will... she looks away and says "For better or for worse"

I see that as meaning only one thing really.. She is still doing all this for you... and she hopes you will forgive her in the end. It's just the tone of her voice and the inflection when she says it that twists my gut because my male shep just stands there like a bump on a log!

I'd like it if Liara was in your cabin, working away on her computer. When Shep then comes back, she greets him/her and then they fall asleep in bed together! :D

Hah, welcome. I'm new myself, I pretty much just threw myself in here and started spouting nonsense and nobody seems to mind. :P

I never really thought about that, but the more people say that, the more I want it to be true. That would be the most kick-ass father ever.

Not only that, but it also indicates that she absolutely hates what she's having to do, which also contributes as to why she's so unhappy and appears stressed out. Honestly, the people who say "zOMG Liara is becoming just like Benezia" ought to read between the lines a little more and realise that she is not exactly relishing what she is doing, as her sad and pensive pause shows. God I wish there was a way to comfort her, hopefully there is in the DLC!

BW Employee #1, watching Les' game in real time:  "He's just standing there, watching her..."

BW Employee #2:  "Really?  Why?"

BW Employee #1:  "I think he just likes watching her."

BW Employee #2:  "That's a bit obsessive, don't you think?"

BW Employee #1 does not answer, as he too has become engrossed in Liara as Les' Shep watches her.

I've taken to narrating the game myself at moments like that. XD

And then people wonder why I'm shouting and saying affectionate things to my TV.    ._.;

If they were watching me like that, I'd try and convey a message to them somehow. Something like:

Give me my Liara back!!

That would be awsome.

That should actually have a good possibility of happening, you can call up the other ME2 LIs (and Kelly) to your cabin.
If Liara is already there, you should definitely be able to cuddle with her.

I would love for there to be a loving conversation before you cuddle with each time her.  (Obviously it couldn't be a different one every time, but a couple different conversations would be nice).

That seems bizarre, you live in the US and I live in England, yet I recieve the comic before you do.

I've totally had my Liara fix, the comic came this morning for me. :D

Most comics are printed in Canada and many TPBs are printed in China and S. korea. Funny that they get shipped from Canada to the US then have to be shipped back to Canada if you're Canadian (at  a higher price point naturally).

It would be nice if they gave each character more dialogues throughout the game. ME2 had, what, two before the loyalty mission and one after if you didn't romance them? Or something like that. Feh. They should each have ten.

I've also heard that BioWare's conference at GDC is this Saturday, so keep your eyes peeled on the internet for any Liara DLC news. Hell, even a confirmation would be nice.

I spent a very long time doing that as well, I always leave a reason to come back to Illium (unfinished quests) just so I can see Liara again.

Although, I come back no matter what even when the quests are done. I love to visit the Beautiful Blue Goddess.
Romantic and Emotional Dialogue in the Liara Expansion, here we come!

I've got you beat by a couple years.  And no, there are other females here.
