I also noticed in the beginning stage of drawing the comic, they drew Liara naked, and then added the armor later. I'm seeing some shots where she has nothing, and some where her armor has nipples.

Well, yeah, it is good sci fi.  I just don't think we have evidence of this in the game.

Honestly I'm not sure even BioWare knows the answer to this.  I agree with the idea that some of these concepts are simply not fleshed out, which is why so many mismatched statements appear in the game.  They come up with a concept; a writer takes that concept and puts a spin on it.  Another writer, two years later, has another cool idea and says something contradictory.  Etc.

Really? I think it looks a little less chubby (I think thats the word). Like she have been eating slightly less.

"EDIT" From the comparrison. It could just be that the DLC screenshot is taken from a slightly diffrent angle. So I think i'm just gonna reserve jugdement before making my final statement.

Again, 1000 years older. Compare a picture of your mom at 18, with when she was 60. Besides, look at the nose, chin, lips, skin, and eyes.

They probably just want to show that she is even more stressed out/under-fed since you saw her last on Illium.   That's what I think, at least.

I have many theories adressing this.

The first being, they thought as I did and decided that Liara's face could use a little more definition. And wanted her to look more like Benezia.

Second one being, they want her to look like her 'father' who they will be revealing in the DLC.

Third being, they want the changes to Liara to be physical. With the stress of isolation and danger taking a visible toll on her features.

Fourth being, they will pull a plot element out of thin air and have Liara get some work done after Shepard left Illium.

Many theories.

I still read Redemption from time to time. There's stuff in it that I like. But to dispel any idle hopes you might have; she never poses like this. It's merely concept imagery done by an artist who is ignorant as to her character.

That's actually how most professionals draw. Naked first, then add clothing. It can get... interesting, if WIP images are leaked.

Well, I'll go down my personal highlights.

The whole second issue. I felt Liara's best characterization was in this, other may disagree, but that's my opinion.

Seeing Liara in a unique design of labcoat at the end of issue four.

Liara wrecking the data center in issue three. (Not really in character, but awesome nonetheless. Call me shallow.)

Liara vs. Harbinger.

Liara's "I. Need. To. See. Shepard." line. I thought that was entirely in-character.
