Not quite. You can tell him you'll keep working for him, but you'll be doing things your way, or you can hang up on him. Either way, if he still needs work done, and you're the only person to get it done, then he's going to give you a call.

Yeah, the ending is actually really open that way, I would have liked to be able to go "F*ck off!" Or "I'm with you all the way T.i.M."
But I guess it's easier storywise to make it more open, then they can make ME3 into whatever they want.

As a long time Liara fans...since ever, I am absolutely stoked and ecstatic about this DLC. Monday can't come fast enough. This is the moment I've been waiting for since the release of ME2 and to know that I will finally be reunited with my #1 pixel love is making this monday the greatest day for gaming for me :-p

well now we know liara wont join the team since they are using the voice files that were cut from the game liara will just go back to her office and read all of the shadow brokers intel.

Did anyone really think anything else? Besides I'd rather see her as Boss, CEO, Queen if you're feeling dramatic of SB's empire than a squaddie, she'd make one hell of an asset in that role.
So she can figure out the Reapers weakness, Shep will take the heavy risk and defeat them, and then return to Dr Blueberry to claim the priiize.
Okay, I'll stop with the stupid puns now.

I hope she takes over SB's network, and remains in this role in ME3, and that we will work for/with her to save the galaxy. I mean, having the boss as LI might give a raise right?

Liara's graphics are looking so much better now. Glad that bioware stepped it up and made her even more awesome.

EDIT: Also loved the way Liara commanded, "Get in, get out .... kill anything that tries to stop you."

Suppose that because "my" Shepard is a Shock-Trooper, he's used to taking orders, but, well ... you might just say he's glad Liara's giving the orders for once.

Sure, it may be jarring at first, but all I can say in that regards is, "That's my girl!"

I don't think it actually is a romance, either to the story or the game's flags, but I have a save just before that so if I get told off for it I will almost certainly go back and undo it.
