On a related note, I hope that you can't just paragon/renegade your way out of the confrontation if you did cheat, some good justifications on Shepard's part would be nice but you shouldn't be able to just defuse the situation in one line.

 Personally, I'm expecting Bioware to railroad unfaithful Shepards into a love-triangle. With them not giving the player the opportunity to say they went behind Liara's back.

I think it'll be pretty bad if it's Garrus / Tali / Miranda, considering their ties with Liara. Do you think she'll have unique dialogue for them and that they brought back in each of their voice actors for the DLC to maybe say something if they are in the room?

Indeed it does, some nights it means getting in wild discussions with himself even, especially now that it's election year in Sweden, Stormy-B has a political schism with himself going on, it's most annoying.

Ehh, I feel very iffy about even that, to be honest.

You could agrue that trying to romance Samara means that your Shepard wanted to move on. But hopefully I won't be forced into saying that:P. I did it because A) It didn't lead anywhere and It's the best ME2 romance. So I might as go ahead and enjoy one of the better scenes of the game.

Hmm, I guess unique dialogue for those who cheated also means unique dialogue for those who stayed loyal then. Ill still enjoy any dialogue faithful players get, although it does kind of leave me feeling a bit odd. I mean for me it wasnt any kind of accomplishment staying loyal. Cheating on Liara would have ruined my character from a roleplaying perspective, because he feels too much for Liara for him to possibly cheat, and too little for the new LIs to do the same. Also, from an out of game perspective, I dont think the ME2 romances were anywhere near as good, so there is that too.

Either way, I wont quibble about it when it comes to playing it though. Not after ME2 being almost completely devoid of Liara romance content. Ill take everything I can get and then Ill judge, not before.

Considering the lack of intersquad interaction in ME2 no, I don´t think so. About voice actors, for all we know they are already recording ME3, but lack of dialog in Overlord or earlier with BdtS doesn´t make me optimistic. Would be a pleasant surprise. With some luck this isn´t written by whoever wrote the Illium reunion.

Answer; these are Shadow Broker agents. Liara's had to deal with them for years. She knows how they operate, the Shadow Broker and his agents are ruthless, they would kill her without hesitation. I think responding in kind would be justified.

And besides; is it really any different from what Shepard does all the freaking time? Regardless of alignment?

Not use discussing yet without context. Remember Morrigan´s line about power in her DA teaser. When you hear it in the conversation you are having the meaning I got was opposite to what I had expected.

And on another topic; I know I'll probably be in the minority here, but was anyone else bothered by the pink mist? Don't get me wrong, I can get symbolism. And taking part in a union would do things to your perception. But pink mist? Err, I just don't get it.

I could buy your surroundings taking a higher in contrast, heavily blurred look --Liara remaining clear, of course-- or something like that. Percieved color changed when Morinth started to meld with you, perhaps would could see something further along those lines --albeit less... sinister--, should Shepard and Liara have another intimate cutscene.
