No, she does...she is protecting Shepard and crew from a rocket attack.  I don't know if this is a squad power...it's probably just a cutscene thing.

This makes sense, and I actually feel silly that didn't occur to me.  Thinking this through, I don't see how this would be an effective squaddie power, so I hope you two are correct.  I'd much prefer a coffee-cup-crush or other Liara-only power.  Eh, really, I want Liara to have her own entirely new power, but I'd settle for her being the only squaddie who gets Singularity.

No, that's still not right.  I'm just happy she's getting out from behind her desk and they dressed her well.

It looks like she may have Singularity (from the one screen), plus a tech power (also from a screen...maybe Overload), plus probably a Passive power, plus a bonus biotic power that Shep can learn after the mission.

She will be kicking butt...this is known.

I've heard some people say that Liara looks chubby in the upcoming DLC. Personally, I think it's just the suit, or the trailer adds ten pounds. However, I think giving Liara(along with every woman in this damn series) a few quarter-pounders wouldn't be such a bad idea.

She's not chubby...it's the biotic effects.  It's just that one pic.  There are blood stains too...they add 10 pounds.

Hmm, time for an old screenie I think.







I always remember this one as being incredibly sneaky after playing ME1. While I know there are always idle animations, like the ones used in this pic to make the squaddies look more dynamic, ME1 and ME2 squadmates are still incredibly stiff all the time, in and out of combat.



Still, I think its a cool shot for both Liara and Ashley, and I like Shepards position in the background too.

hey, Marcin. I think we are all just on pause until Tuesday. Can't wait to play through it twice...once loyal, and once with Tali as a current LI....I'll love to see the difference in Liara's reactions.
