And Matthiew Fox is "rumored" for Shepard. I like Fox, but... eh... Shepard? I've primarily only seen him in Lost, so I'm not sure if he can pull of the commanding presence that Shepard has to have --if they insist of having Shepard be in this.

I can't really put a comment regarding choice of actors. Since i'm not much of a tv/movie person.

But I really hope that Shepard won't be "generic action hero who bangs the (blue) chick" #83.

If my memory serves, the article IMDB cited as a basis for that rumour was written on April 1st and confirmed to be an april fools joke.

I have little doubt that if the movie is based on the games, it will be a steaming pile of crap designed to sell tickets via video game sales, and someone like Mathew Fox would be chosen, but I think there needs to be something more concrete behind any rumours before I back them.

Personally, I hope the movie falls on its arse and dies like many others (Halo, Gears of War etc.)

As a Liara fan I'd have to say that using Murray as Liara would be enough of a reason for me to go see the Movie if only to see Liara brought to life.

And Samuel L Jackson is going to play Master Chief in the Halo movie. Come guys. They don't even have a script or a director yet. When people cast a movie, they cast 2 months before they shoot it, or 3 months to allow the actor to train for the part. That's it. Sometimes they may make exceptions, but that's only if they already have a script. They don't hire actors if they don't even have a script yet, or even a writer to write it. And at this stage, they're just getting someone to write a treatment.

I've just figured it out; the big surprise in LotSB will be the fact that Liara melded with your comatose body regardless of whether you romanced her or not, because she is just obviously *so* obsessed with you, and she had a child that the Shadow Broker kidnapped, and your daughter -- who somehow has the Cipher and the Prothean visions in her head-- will be the key to stopping the Reapers.

Liara will offer Shepard a way to survive killing the arch-reaper. All he have to do is to preform a dark ritual with her.

Didn't one of the preview's mention that we'll in the start search around Liara's apartment for some clues? If that's true, wouldn't it be great to have (if she was you'r LI) a picture of her and Shepard, sorta a reminder that Liara still cares for Shepard.

I'd bet money you're right... though I think it'll just be a single of Shepard.

Who knows? She might have some sort of picture even if Shep wasn't an LI
