Maybe (however i haven't played yet this DLC since i wait to see if he will be available for me anyway and i need fresh amount of B.P to purchase him) fact that Lia is new SB is more or less but another solution to "to keep or not to keep C-Base" question rising at this forum since SB made pretty huge deals with Collectors AND Reapers so it's possible that in his files could be hiding more information about Harby and co than in that freaking base.

Maybe... Drew was right when he wrote me to be patient when comes to Lia and her appearance in ME2^_^

Absolutely wonderfull DLC.

The banter between them was great and the dialogue scenes wonderfull. They did a good job with the shadowbroker and we had actually 2 quite unique boss fights. There were epic sceneries and great missions...and thats somehwo the thing that bugged me, because it just seems that they put so much more effort and love for detail in the DLCs then in the main game itself.

Anyway...the scenes with Liara were fantastic. And I love the little dossiers you can read from all of your crew and some npcs.

Kinda weird the moment where you just leave one of your crew members behind haha^^

Also, did anyone catch when she kept repeating "two years" and "finally"? I don't just think it meant Shephard being dead...I think she was trying to become his/her equal. Liara was trying to honor Shephard..not because she loved shep, not because she brought shep back (against his will maybe), but she needed to become the SB and get information that could save the galaxy in the way Shep did. Liara was doing all this so she could love Shep, and feel comfortable in the relationship--not the underling--an equal.

That's my take...

Im torn now. Tali or Liara? The DLC touched me, in particular Liara's character development, and I'm struggling now which to pursue in 3.

I know.  Tali had always been my favorite character to romance.   But now after finishing Liara DLC with Liara being LI and remaining faithful, I don't think I want to be just friends with her and romance tali. lol

After the end you can  go  to the room behind Liara where feron is. There is a surveillance camera port.

She pretty much confirms this when you get the paragon trigger after you battle the Asari Spectre. I was suspecting this right from the moment where she didn't call you after the attack at her apartment. It was her trying to show that she had grown and no longer needed Shepard to protect her. Just love her.

Someone finally asked how Shepard felt, on a personal level, and it was Liara. Mass Effect is now officially my favorite sci-fi franchise. I made a post about how I felt that was one of the biggest problems in the game; and it's now been corrected.

This DLC was utterly awesome, for many different reasons, primarily of course because my Shepard finally got Liara back. This DLC has become the glaze of polish that makes the game feel... complete? I now feel that I could comfortably close my main Shepard, in the cabin, and not need to pick them up again until ME3. It feels like a good 'closing' point.

Other reasons this is my favorite DLC ever are the terminals; finding out more about other characters was facinating. Miranda's medical note was paticularly intresting, and might explain more of her bitter side. Thats for the Miranda thread though.

The banter in this DLC really made Shepard seem more human than s/he has so far, and it was great to Liara so matured. She's still very much Liara, she's just 'grown up'. In my opinion she now feels like the elder in the relationship, and it adds an interesting atmosphere.

I also like that she is now seperate as far as the missions go. In my view the romances suffer because the partner is always the 'underling' of Shepard. S/he always calls the shots, and it shows in how the relationships progress and feel. Now, with Liara, it's a relationship between people of equal standing. Shepard is Commander of her ship, Liara a powerful information broker. That final scene relected that I think.

Two side points though. I don't trust Feron. I might even go so far as to wonder if HE is infact the Shadow Broker, and the other guy was just a front. Also; man, Shepard really does feel like a rookie Spectre in 'that' fight. One on one I don't think the fight would have gone so well. Rather a solomn moment to realise that Shepard is not infact the biggest dog in the galaxy as far as combat skills go; just a skilled fighter in a extrodinary situation. Of course, this is from the point of view of a Soldier who has never had a boss throw shockwaves at him and slam into him with charge.

I actually trust Feron, Liara trusted him (And once again I was right, there's nothing going on with Feron-Liara.) and so can I.

I also trusted her not to start something with Feron.

And anyone who hates Feron for oogling at Liara is a hypocrite. He has the consideration not to try anything and hell he probally does have feelings for her. As long as he doesn't try anything I couldn't care less because you can't blame him for his feelings.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves Feron went through hell with Liara to get you back. Is probally Liara's best friend. Is the reason Liara hasn't commited out of depression because Shepard would be dead forever. And all he got was torture for two years.

And so far he hasn't asked for a reward after two years of torture.

Awesome DLC for my favorite character in the ME universe. Nice to see Liara come of age and no longer be in a subordinate position as a squad member but rather as an equal, capable of giving and recieving as an equal making the LI aspect of the Liara and Shepard pairing far more plausable with enormous potential for growth. I especially liked the way in which their relationship evolved to a much more personal/ intimate level. I'd like to see it continue to evolve on a path toward the happily ever after option by the end of the trilogy.

Speaking of which, did anyone have the heart to make an alternate playthrough to see what the "Dead, probally" ending said? I certainly didn't :crying:

I don't even have the courage to watch it on Youtube. :crying:

Again, there are 4 paragon interrupts total. They move quick so have your trigger finger ready...I thought there were only 3 at first.

I did, Shepard says something like "Even if we win we won't live to see the parade." to which Liara says "Then what's the point of any of this?". I was hoping Shepard's line would be a bit more joking, if I'm honest, I'm going to redo the conversation later (it was already 6am by the time I finished, I couldn't stay up any longer to try again).

Just finished it. Just great.

Dissapointed at SB´s identity (although maybe it´s the drone), but hell of a fight. Couldn´t beat him until I realized Stasis broke his guard better than Warp or Singularity. Can I use that power now?

Great story, good and challenging combats, the Corusc- Illium chase banter, SB´s base (reminded me a bit of Ragnar Anchorage from BSG), the data and vids at the end (hell of a mistake in Miranda´s and probably Oriana´s design, poor woman - didn´t expect her to be trying to have a child, and Anderson had one? That wasn´t in Revelation), the final scene in the Normandy. So many things.

Now if they fix the Virmrire survivor ME2 in story will be almost perfect.

PS: Why the hell Shepard is the only one who can´t call Akuze on TIM??? It´s the second time in the game I´ve been attacked with this.

Next time I´ll play preSM, somehow it fits better IMHO. Liara doing something helpful for the future rather than obsessed with revenge fits much better as reason to stay behind.

It's kinda sad to see this thread still kinda empty, even after the launch of the much anticipated DLC.

For anyone who might be new to these forums... there are plenty of Liara fans around. Many of the regulars now stick to private groups, though.

From what I'm reading this DLC seems to have less than 3 hours of content yet they are charging $10 for it. As much as I'd like to play it I just don't think I can justify that kind of return on investment. I still don't have a job so I really have to make every dollar go as far as it can go. Hopefully there will be a price drop sometime in the future.

There's an awful lot of dialogue in it, really good dialogue at that (I thought, especially for romances), it's not like Overlord.

Also, I don't know if it's been said yet, but has anyone played it with a character that was unfaithful to Liara? I need to know what happens!
