***SPOILERS***

I went "EEEEE!" when I got to put squad points in to Liara's powers.  It felt like ME1 at that point.

Hahah...I never did that. I guess I forgot..amazingly I still made it through...oops.

You didn´t? Stasis was rather useful this time around. I hit Esc as soon as I realized she was in the squad. What class did you play? Statistics say Soldier...

I want to say that I am glad for all of you that you finally got your Liara DLC and that it was extremely high quality.

Im damn sure next big DLC will be Virmire suvivors. And if the DLCs stay on this rising star then you guys are in for a wild ride. I hope for some decent Alliance military missions :)

Thank you for those hopeful words.

Well, I think that is spot on..that will be next.

So, what are people's thoughts on Liara's possible role in ME3? Quest giver that remains on the SB ship? Squadmate? Or some sort of hybrid between the two? Or no role at all?!

I'd think it would great if the SB network forms the basis of your information gathering and mission setting infrastructure, but with Liara on the Normandy as a squadmate and Feron looking after the SB ship and feeding data to you via Liara.

In spite of the DLC, I think she will be a squadmate OPTION in ME3  (meaning: if she is your LI, she will be the squadmate that fills that "slot").

I'm always a soldier (for Hale or Meer)....once I took Garrus, and also took Legion once.

It is actually true most use soldier then. I took Thane, but sadly SB only said he would send condolences to his son. Expected something about his wife.:(

At this point it would seem Liara's role as the SB is critical to ME3. Her desire to give to Shepard along with her thirst for knowledge suggests to me that Liara will retain her role as SB, at least until the galactic threat has been removed but I don't think this would preclude her and Shepard from further developing a romance or friendship provided Shepard's visits to the SB base contain dialogue and prehaps physical actions allowing for it. They need time together to make it work.

Hey I'm on a soldier and I pick the teammates powers!

Then again I put squad power usage on so I can concentrate on shooting stuff unless I need to hit a certain target or group...

And I've taken Garrus and Miranda to my endings.

It's not cheating if you don't go for Liara's azure.

Depends.  Did Liara's eyes go black as you neared the bed?  Either way, dunno how this DLC will handle it.  Liara never mentioned Kelly to me.  :innocent:

Of course there's still the happy ending with "old age, marriage, little blue children running around" Which will be my canon Playthrough.

Pretty much that will be my playthrough, should it be possible, in ME3.

I think Liara will need you for missions...not just hacking terminals. In the end and for the end run she may help you as  a squaddie, but may also coordinate things if you do in fact have the loyalty of entire armies or squads. It really depends on where the writers take it. She may also need you to help with her Father--meeting or otherwise.
I have no doubt she will be important.

While there is no starting foreplay as in the ME2 scenes, it is quite clear what is going to happen as the camera goes black. If all you get is a hug no problem.

no black screen just hug..but at the end SHep did say come back soon...after Liara left the room

I really enjoyed the DLC and am so happy for all the regulars in this thread. I can think of few ways in which LotSB could have been better. Especially loved everything after the final boss fight, right down to Liara in the iconic shiny pink asari dress. The interplay between Liara and Shepard was fantastic throughout, and some of the little extras in the SB intel centre cracked me up. :-D

Here's a nice video of what happens right after you beat the Shadow Broker. Kissy time included!

"You have your mission, and-"

"Shut up and kiss me you fool."

Jennifer Hale should have totally said in the paragon interrupt as a shout out to Bastila.

I accidentally missed all but one of the interrupts, and I only got the one I did because it was right after one I missed (the second one in the hotel), I tend to lean back when there's a cutscene but next time I'll be hovering over the mouse like a ninja.

Something I noticed about Liara in the DLC was that she had a much more mature appearance and personalty when compared to ME, so I was wondering whether or not she advanced to the matron stage
I know that an asari normally has to be 350 years old, but it can occur early and is marked by a desire to settle in one area and raise children, which was kinda the fibe I got with the romance

Well, I reinstalled and tried to start a new game, but I just can't get into it. Even if the DLC is decent, though it sounds like it is very short again, it isn't worth playing through ME2 for. So I youtubed it and thought it was rather 'meh'. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Her new look is rather awful compared to what she looked like in ME1, she still leaves at the end, her becoming the SB is about the lamest turn of events yet, and they set things up nicely to have her be nothing more than a quest giver in ME3. And Liara fans are happy about this? /shakeshead

I know how she feels I hit puberty at 10 too...And I began growing facial hair at 14. :crying: However when people were older and it was cool to have "pubes" I felt awesome. ^_^

So, LotSB. Short, but damn sweet. Very nice environments, great dialog and finally someone asked Shepard how he/she feels. All in all it was a lot better than I expected, loved it.
