Just finished my second playtrough, it's AWESOME.

But if you don't see the videos one day, they will disappear? There's no way to see videos of the past days?

It's weird to say this, but it's satisfying to see Liara's empty office in Illium. Finally, she's received the character development she deserves.

Just to add a nitpick, i noticed that after completing the shadowbroker dlc if you got talk to Feron and ask him how Feron and Liara ended looking for shepard´s body, Feron says that he used to be an information dealer, and not a slaver. So that is why he decided to save shepard´s corpse from the collectors.

What i gathered from this is that Feron used to be a information dealer, so he may be able to replace Liara as the shadowbroker if necessary (i don´t think bioware made it by coincidence, they could have made Feron a mechanic or something else), so i am hopeful that Liara may reappear as a squadmate in ME3 if not for the entire game, at least for some part of it.

I hope, Mykel, I hope. I never realized how much I missed having a proper Adept teammate until I had Liara in my party.

Spoilers:

Voice: Shadow Broker. This is operative Borat. I have the reports you requested on the Illusive Man.

Liara: This is the Shadow Broker. What have you found?

Voice: He has indeed been seeing Matriach Trellani.

Liara: Really? How many times?

Voice: Twice a week.

(someone chuckles)

Liara: Thank you for the information. Please report back in the next several hours. Shadow Broker out.

(pause)

Liara: Ohhh... stop that! That's too... that's too much!

Voice: Shadow Broker. This is operative Charlie. I have a report on that smear campaign against Donnel Udina.

Liara: This is the Shadow Broker. How did it go?

Voice: It's all in the report. I appropriate named it "Political **** Storm".

Liara: Thank you operative Charlie. Please report back in the next several hours. Shadow Broker out.

(pause)

Liara: Oh, that tickles!

Shepard: You sure know how to multi-task.

Liara: I'm a very good information broker... Ohh, Goddess... Yes... YES! OH YES! THERE!........ Awwwwwwww.....

Shepard: You know, I didn't know you could have an orgasm over a foot massage.

Liara: Keep that up, and you'll be touching something else very soon!

Shepard: You mean your "azure"?

Liara: lol... Goddess, why did I ever tell you that?

Shepard: Your "azure"?

Liara: Oh, Shut up!

Shepard: Seriously. "Azure"?

Liara: I didn't pick the name!

If I were to speculate right now, then I would guess that the Shadow Broker base will serve as a direct support ship for Shepard in ME3. I'm sure that thing has firepower, or Liara will give it some firepower. And if Bioware do what I suspect they'll do --which is declare Shepard rogue and seize the Normandy-- then it could serve as the primary ship.

Maybe I just missed the line in the SB intel on TIM, but is he really dating an asari?

And no. I'm too lazy to put in the disc again right now (waiting for Morigan DLC to finish)!:P

Sorry for the side bar, but why the hate for Meer? I love the work he has done so far. His strength is definitely in the Renegade tree but overall I think he is good. Yes his delivery is lacking sometimes, but you have to be honest, so is Hale's. Nothing so spectacular about either's performance in my opinion.

I like Mark Meer, and as I said before, his preformance in ME2 maingame was good. It just that in Overlord, his preformance was sub-par to say the least.

But I have to disagree about Meer's preforming best as a renegade. It's not bad, but I just don't like the style he has. But I do like his paragon preformance.

In short:

Meer=paragon

Hale=renegade

I agree. Meer´s paragon voice has a warmth Hale just doesn´t, but she shows anger much better. Although in ME2 Meer also does pretty well the angry paragon choices.

I have a bad feeling that members on Citidal council that wishes Shepard gone will use the death of Vasir as a way to show everyone else that Shepard have finally revealed his true colours as a terrorist.

And if that's the case, then thank god Shepard got the new SB behinds his back.

Hello! I just wanted to direct your attention for a moment to the new introduction to the forum with an outline of the purposes of this forum now that it has been separated from the strategy discussion.

You have discussion of your favorite character going fairly well, but I'd also encourage you guys to present any fan-created works about the series to your other forumites!

I see I'm not the only one thinking along these lines, even though I wouldn't describe it as a necessarily bad feeling, I'd like for Shep to be declared rogue, hunted and generally in a bad spot
I guess I'm just a sucker for stories of the hero who proves everybody wrong.

Yes, he is.

TIM is quite the lothario, judging by all the info the SB has

Actually if you think about it Shepard has a leg up on the entire galaxy with Liara pulling the strings. Liara could easily leak stories about how corrupt Vasir was making Shepard look like a hero

Another thing that should be considered is. No matter what you do, Shepard have done something that can (if you twist it a little bit) easiliy be seen as dangerous and endangering the security of council space. Also, there seem to be quite a few Alliance officals that want Shepard dealt with.

I don´t think he needs to order them. Or that anyone can order matriarch. Never got the vibe TIM saw himself as speciest, more like a survivalist. Doesn´t dislike aliens for being aliens, but thinks some race will try to have the upper hand anyway and he thinks humanity should be the one.

On another note, something I really liked was how they played with Liara´s skin color. At the beginning, when she is almost renegon, it has that "sickly" tone, later it is a bright, (lively?) blue (she also changed lipstick to dark blue). Having Shepard around is good for her.

Great banter. Hope to see more of it in ME3. Having a 3 way banter in the chase would have been perfect. Did the ME2 and DA teams switch for the DLCs?

Who's that with? I've brought Garrus every time and I've only ever heard Liara and Shepard talk, what they did say was really good though, beat most of the original game's banter.

Edit: /facepalm...

That´s what I meant, that there should have been 3 way at times. Garrus in the taxi? That would have been gold. At least at times it was noted they were there.

Hey folks! I'm working on a texmod to harmonise Liara's previous looks with her new high-res texture. The main aim is to make her lips and eyes look as they used to. I think I've managed it with the lips, but the eyes may be beyond me, as I think they rely on a tint map for their hue. Here's an initial pic of the change to the lips, though. What do you think?

Anyone else get the impression that without the data Shepard gave her, Liara would have stood little to no chance of defeating the shadow broker?

I mean he has a huge ship, a private army, contacts in the salarian and turian governments. What does Liara have? A small office on Illium and a murderous assistant? Yes she may have a network of contacts but no where near on the scale of the shadow brokers.

It really hit me when I played the dlc that she would never have won. She might have spent the next 1000 years trying and still end up losing.

I've played the DLC twice now and I can now say I'm a Liara fan.

I'll admit, I was one of the people who "abandoned" Liara in ME 2 because of the drastic personality change. Now after finishing LotSB (and reading the comic), I respect her much more as a character, and I'd go as far as to say she's the most complete character in the ME universe at this point. Also IMO, the romance was VERY well done.

I actually agree with everything you just said (mainly because I do as well) but.....

Isn't your Tali signature a little contradictory? "I don't want anyone else I want you. And Liara." Posted Image

I say kudos to both of you. Liara is awesome and I still have tons of respect for Tali, but Liara wins the day forever with me as it relates to Mass Effect series.
