I have to admit to everyone here that I too, abandoned Liara after ME2 was released in favor of Tali. But now... having played the DLC, my eyes are on Liara again. Tali still has my respect, but if I could maintain a romance, I would do it with Liara first. My only disappointment is to see Liara leave to assume the role of the Shadow Broker, but people change, and her willingness to do so reflects that change and increase in maturity.

I've played the DLC twice now and I can now say I'm a Liara fan.

I'll admit, I was one of the people who "abandoned" Liara in ME 2 because of the drastic personality change. Now after finishing LotSB (and reading the comic), I respect her much more as a character, and I'd go as far as to say she's the most complete character in the ME universe at this point. Also IMO, the romance was VERY well done.

I actually agree with everything you just said (mainly because I do as well) but.....

Isn't your Tali signature a little contradictory? "I don't want anyone else I want you. And Liara."

Tali for my manshep and Liara for my Femshep.  For each of them, "there is no other" but the one they love.....

Come on man, it's hard to choose! lol

Well, theoretically, if you are willing stomach a number of playthroughs (or have savegames at the right moment), you can romance everyone!

Doesn't matter. None of the squadmates have any dialogue anyways. I just picked Tali. If you are talking about the DLC, of course.

At the end of the day go for your gut feeling. Whoever appeals to you more go with them, or do like XX55XX has said and just stomach some extra playthroughs. For me no matter what, I always default to Liara with all of my playthroughs. Once and only once on an unfinished playthrough did I test Miranda out. It was nice and she has a cool character, but I couldn't stomach finishing.

Don't get me wrong, I completed Mass Effect 1 eleven times and have finished 2 seven times (both numbers are going to rise) but I like to have a definitive favorite character to romance.

I mean which character should I write about on fanfiction?! Urg!

Write on whomever you feel the closest to. But if you are going to write fan fiction, try a new romance, please. I tire of reading Tali and Kaidan romances in fanfics. Liara fanfics are pretty rare, and so are fanfics concerning Thane and Jacob.

After this I don´t think I´ll be able to go to another romance. Good thing Miranda is the only character from ME2 I can see as romanceable and that I finished my no LI ME1 playthrough a few days before LotSB.

That DLC was awesome and I absolutely loved what they gave us in regards of character development and dialogue. Liara T'soni forever

In short; she leaves. She goes through a portal into another world beyond the realm of mortals and beyond even the Fade itself. You have the option of going with her, in which case, you both step through the portal to face whatever is beyond together. And then the game ends.

I love Liara.. favorite female in Mass Effect universe.. stayed loyal and can't wait to see her again in ME3. I like that I got to romance her and do some missions with her in LotSB (best DLC ever!)

And I must say.. she looks damn sexy in her new look
