The scene changed alittle depending on what you have done throughout the game.

My setup for the scene was.

Loyal to Liara/Lost people on collector base.

-Told her that the dog tags weren't really mine anymore.

-Told her that I'm worried.

-Said that the death of my crew hurt me.

-Marriage, old age and alot of blue children? (best part of the scene!)

I accept that she have changed abit due to age etc. But the LOTSB model should have replaced the ME2-maingame model completly.

It makes sense to look diffrently from ME1-ME2 after what she's been through. But it doesn't make much sense to change appearnce again from ME2-LOTSB. I just imagined she's always looked like that during the events of ME2(and LOTSB).

I think it has mainly to do with her maturing under all the pressure she has been living in. It makes her much more beautiful in my eyes. Much more. And she is so confident at the end there...

She is much more comfortable with the man she loves. Much more confident.

I have a feeling they're going to retcon this in ME3 since asari physiology is already arbitrarily strange.

Changing her eyes was in bad taste though.  They made it a point to make them the same as her mother's in ME1, and now they magically change in the course of 20 minutes for LotSB.

I agree with this...her appearance changes from one second to the other in LOTSB...they should have replaced the model permanentley.

Aside from that I don't want to see Liara being dependent on Shepard;

I nether view her as someone who depends on others,even in the first game.She needed help because a whole army of geth hunted her
on Therum,but otherwise she lifed for 50 years not depending on others,researching and also defending herself without help.

I definitely think they retconned it, the same way my Vanguard lost her warp, etc, etc, and so on.

Going back to yestodays minor discussion about Shepard and Liara's child. As much as I (and many others) would want a happy ending. Couldn't it be somewhat tragic if their child ended up resenting humans (and Shepard)? Perhaps in the aftermath of the war against the Reapers the humans gain alot of power. Resulting in their child growing up in a increasingly human dominated galaxy?

I know it's a farfetched idea.
