I'm not the best with photo editing, but i've tried to make a Liara's fan art merging some of the most beautiful Liara's images i found.

Liara to Shep?

For some reason that song always reminded me of Liara, and the Mass 1 romance. It just has that Mass Effect feel with the sound, it fit perfectly with Jack Wall's soundtrack. Unfortunately, he went the blockbuster movie route with the new one. Music can make or break a game. While Mass 2's music is not bad, it doesn't fit in with the theme set by Mass Effect 1's soundtrack.

Couldn't it be somewhat tragic if their child ended up resenting humans (and Shepard)? Perhaps in the aftermath of the war against the Reapers the humans gain alot of power. Now, there's an interesting idea. Because, Renegades can in fact romance Liara. I have to wonder if, by the time of ME3, Liara would comment on Renegade Shepard letting the Council die and keeping the Collector Base for Cerberus. It would make sense to me that Liara would have some reaction to Shepard's repeated actions of putting the dominance of the human race above that of the good of the galaxy.

Or maybe she believes that anything Shepard does in necessary to stop the Reapers?

In either case, I'd have to agree that a child of Shepard and Liara's would probably have their own opinion of humanity ruling the galaxy. Or maybe, since Shepard would probably be there to help raise her, she would agree with the state of affairs. Maybe she would see herself more as a human than an asari? If that makes sense...

Note: Yeah, I haven't really been on today, and I'm just about to head to bed. I've been busy since eight o'clock this morning with Halo: Reach.  But it doesn't look like it's been very busy here.

About the Council, oddly enough, if you take Kaidan and Liara with you to the final battle, it's Liara who advocates sacrificing the Council. She's also the one who puts a bullet in Saren's head. Even then, she showed signs that she is hardcore, man.

I wonder if Asari children ever experience something like a melding with their mothers. In that case, any of Liara's children would have insight into Shepard's visions as well, and a rudimentary understanding of what was at stake.

Human infants go through a symbiotic phase in development that can occur with either parent ( actually any consistant caregiver ). Incorperating this concept into notions about the Asari could easily explain how Asari children retain attributes or characteristics of their father without falling into the endless pit of debate about genitics. Good catch.

Well asari have belly buttons, so they obviously don't come from an egg. I'm guessing they come out of the "Azure":wizard:

Also does anyone have a MaleShep Liara romance save just before starting Lair of the Shadow Broker? I don't have time to import mine from Mass Effect due to uni and I really want to checkout the male romance side.

Yeah well, i just made a lot of screenshots ingame and i'm making wallpapers of these. But don't worry, i'm still making more if you don't like those.

Nah I like them alot. I just downloaded them  just the middle makes me think shep is doing something wrong to Liara. But it could be just my mind

Now that you've said that, it actually looks a bit funny yes. Especially Shepard's face

In Noveria with Kaidan she was the one who wanted the queen freed, although Kaidan doesn´t press the issue as other squadies do when you free her. Council choice and shooting Saren were more fitting to Kaidan too. Liara had said she felt sorry for Saren earlier. At no point in the game does Kaidan feel more paragon than her. For that matter, I think Garrus being more renagade than Ashley was quite surprising too.

I don't want to open new thread just to ask this question - is matriarch Aethyta Liara's father? What do you think? In ME1 Liara states that she is pureblood and that she never knew who her 'father' was. Then in ME2 we meet bartender matriarch Aethyta that says that she even had pureblood daughter once but it didn't go well... Liara depicted Benezia in ME1 as open-minded benevolent asari when it comes to other races and ofc those who surround her, and Aethyta is pretty much badass, militant but also wise person and that could be the reason for their unfortunate split up... and then we see Aethyta drinking and watching the photo of asari that looks like Liara, her fringe color, skin tone and even lipstick... could it be that Aethyta is actually Liara's long lost secret 'father'?
