Its like 2 seconds after it...but I just found it one youtube...its not reeally a smile..its right after shep says "you enjoyed the tour"...and only her eyes move towards you and her head is still looking to the fishes...
its a lkinda unexplainable "chuckle about cute Liara" moment for me^^

Just like I always love it when Shep says : "Keep dreaming T'soni!" :)

Oh, I know what you are referring to. Liara glances at Shepard out of the corner of her eyes, whilst still smiling and with her head turned towards the fishtank. Yes, that's a very nice moment and I think she looks absolutely gorgeous there!

Indeed Iglo, the way she looks out of the corner of her eye and then turns her whole head is very well done. The animators did a fantastic job.

Hmmm. I think that, in order to truly appreciate Liara's beauty during that point, an animated gif of her side glance and smile is required.

All her purple is gone too...makes you wonder if the appearance of the asari and her live stage (or how the asari call it) is more a result of (how can ya say it) ähm... live changing experiences...high stress situations or situations that form your personality... then it is a result of the actual age

That's a distinct possibility. For example, Matriarch Aethyta seems to have quite a differing appearance to that of Benezia, in spite of them both being Matriarchs. However, I do feel that the stress of two years worth of grief, mourning, despair and misery has had an effect on Liara physically, and may explain her altered appearance.

I hope Liara gets to meet Aethyta. I'd like to see how they would interact.

It needs to happen.

I think that LotSB has set up an Aethyta/Liara reunion in ME3 perfectly. It needs to happen, and I think that it also needs to be quite emotionally charged, whilst remaining quite funny. Aethyta clearly misses her daughter.

But I'm sure she's very proud since Liara has far surpassed all of her expectations for an Asari child

Liara definitely has, if you listen to what Aethyta thinks young asari should be doing.  (i.e., not stripping or running in merc bands)

Aethyta thinks young asari need to get up, get out, get moving and go change the galaxy.  I think Liara's doing this :D

Personally... I don't think Bioware woul dhave left Feron alive if the intent was for Liara to remian the SB. Now she is yes... however I think when all is said and done she will willingly leave this job to fulfill her desires with Shepard. And I think Aeythyta will play a part in that for some reason. She has all the power in the world to change events now but I don't believe Liara will let this affect her. Look at the influence and power she gained on Illium in just two years and Nyxerius says she could have even more if she wasn't so focused on her personal goals. I.E. Revenge for Shepard and Feron.

I think she has matured and grown enough to come to realize that her true happiness lies with Shepard and their future together.

You never know... the next DLC might have her birthday party in it just to have the humor.

Indeed. For such a relatively young person, Liara has accomplished so much in her life so far. She's making a difference, and trying to change the galaxy for the better, in addition to aiding Shepard in stopping the Reapers. Rather than spending her Maiden years working as a stripper or a commando, she's decided to make a difference, and do something more constructive.

Both Benezia and Aethyta would be proud of her.
