About Liara after Shepard dies if of old age. She has around 3/4 of her natural life left. That´s a lot to be alone. Finding someone who can measure up to Shepard in anything would be very difficult though.

KaneLam, a writer on FF.net, wrote about this topic briefly in "The Distance Between Two Stars", a fanfiction you should take caution in reading if you're emotionally sensitive to mushy stuff. He writes that Liara did take several more bondmates after Shepard passed, but none of them truly meant as much to her as Shepard did.
I get choked up just typing about it.

This is something ive thought about but her goes: What would you name you and Liara's daughter?
Would you go for an asari name, a human name, something inbetween, or completely different? Im sure some of you must have some good ides.
Some ideas off the top of my head:
Thanna
(because my cousin is named Hanna, just a slight modification)
Benezia (to honor liara's mother)
Liara Jr.(which im sure many have thought of)
What would you name you and Liara's daughter? come on I know some of you must have thought about it ;P
Would you go for an asari name, a human name, something inbetween, or completely different? Im sure some of you must have some good ideas swimming around in that noggin of your's, why not share them?
Kaidlyn. (modification of Kaiden, who died on Virmire in my canon game)
I like Tia for some reason.

Erm... in my opinion Shepard... can't die because of old age, why ? She/He is a Cyborg as we can see it in Project Overlord and this reminds me of Ghost in the Shell a bit.Nerevar-as wrote...

Yes, I love that story...I cried the entire epilogue
It was well written, though, but if you don't like that kind of stuff...

But it's just my theory.
His organic parts will have to be continually regrown and replaced.
I think I remember reading somewhere that in the ME setting, the human brain has a hard-cap on its lifespan of 150 years. I can't verify that, so I can't use it. It's invalidated by what Miranda says about how long she'll live, if she meant that she'll live longer than 150 years, which is considered to be the new old age in humans.
Then, there are philosophical considerations.
I was more than convinced by Neil Gaiman's tale of Hob Gadling that immortality isn't all it's cracked up to be.

If I had a choice, from a roleplaying perspective, my Shepard wouldn't live that much longer than the average human.

If Shepard has a Cyberbrain thing or something like that he/she can live forever other parts of flesh can be easily replaced by cybernetics, nano technology, implats etc.yorkj86 wrote...
I don't think that Shepard's that artificial. We see a lot of flesh and bone in the cinematic, with cybernetics apparently used to fill in the parts that couldn't be regrown. Then, there's the matter of the player not having to choose implants like Heavy Skin Weave.
If I had a choice, from a roleplaying perspective, my Shepard wouldn't live that much longer than the average human.
I'm not going to complain if Shepard can live like asari
BioWare should give us more info about Shepard brain :|

But would he want to live for so long?
I don't know why Bioware ignores the topic of transhumanism. I guess they think it's better being left to the "Deus Ex" games.

Why not? Living with Liara and the childrens isn't a good reason, after saving the universe? We don't know what BioWare has planned, but i'm sure that Shepard will have a different end for every LI.

Shepard will love Liara, and their children, either way.
I think it fits well in to longview, and Liara's enjoyment of her time with Shepard, that he/she won't live nearly as long as she wil. It may not be a popular view, but I think it's tragically beautiful.

There are a few species IRL that don´t age, but I don´t think the ME universe has discovered how to transplant that to humans, or any indication that Cerberus, who would ignore the ME laws against that, had used that on Shepard.
How high was gravity in the planet Shepard died? I think that he stayed in orbit and the N7 helmet was a spare makes more sense than hitting ground.

Since Shepard could be "hacked" that implies a greater deal of synthetic parts in Shepard's brain and central nervous system than they even initially admitted to. I agree I really want some answers to this stuff, just how synthetic is Shepard?

Someone can provide me some ME1 Liara pics? I would like to have one of the Flux dance, one of the pre-ilos kiss missed because of Joker, and other funny moments if it's possible. The resolution should be 1920x1080 or more.
Thank you very much:lol:
I have some, but not at that resolution.

If the width is 1600 at least, it's ok.
Thanks
