You mean with Liara helping Shepard up? Or am I completely wrong?

Goodwood certainly caught that on his first run through LotSB. He thought it was quite appropriate as well.

The Wolfe wonders if this is on purpose or incidental. On the one hand, you have the case of references such as these to not be beyond Bioware's mindfullness to include. On the other hand, there's the fact that she does it whether or not you romanced her.

Actually, let The Wolfe take that all back, if you did not romance her, then it's one friend simply helping another up, if you do, then it's the same thing, with echoes of the past --a little tasty something extra for people like you and I.

This one is pretty!  My current one is a pic of Illium during the car chase scene in LotSB, and a nice huge poster of Blasto :D

Give me Liara in ME3, as a Squadmate and LI.

I want to be given the chance and reason, that my past choices with her, to affect me in ME3.
What fun would it be to have had a LI with her in ME, stayed loyal to her thru ME2 with all the temptations, and not have a chance to keep her around in ME3?

Even if she's the SB, EDI (Of Normandy 2) and the Secretary (In the SB's lair) should be able to keep things level when she's gone and helping Shepard.
Liara even mentioned that she would tinker with the Secretary "in the future".

Plase BioWare, make it so! <3

Liara will be the most important character in ME3, this is sure now, so i think we will be able to do something with her in ME3. Surely she will give us a big help with her activity, maybe we will have her as a squadmate, and we will be able to continue the romance, with a very likely final with marriage and childs.

So, we can be happy.

And i want to say something to some fans who are jealous of Liara after LotSB, and are actually trying to say bad things about her...

Just copied my main-shep save files to create a new alternative canon playthrough, where I decide to preserve the collector base.

It's a shame that Liara doesn't comment on your decision regarding the base. Would she approve of keeping it? Would she say the same thing like everyone else on the Normandy, that they trust Shepard but not TIM? I think the latter might be possible, she might even ask what Shepard's intentions were with keeping the base. Was it to gain a new weapon against the Reapers? Or perhaps something to give humanity an egde against the other species.

Who here has kept the base? I mean, it's sort of an oxymoron to love and romance Liara and give Reaper technology to a humancentric extremist like the Illusive Man.

It wouldn't necessarily be inconsistent. I have a mostly paragon femshep who romanced Liara and kept the base. Her justification was that the Reapers are a threat to all sentient life, including Liara, and the technology in that base was kept with the intent of saving lives.

I'm sure Liara would be understanding enough to support any sort of decision made in the defense and preservation of sapient life.
Including plugging a mass accelerator round in TIM's skull once a(n inevitable) slipup occurs. :bandit:

Heey, this thread just reached the year of my birth, or the year it all went to hell as some like to call it...
That calls for Liarahugs all around.

That would have been nice indeed.
I kind of doubt that Liara would feel comfortable with TIM having the base to play around in, but trusts Shepard to keep Cerberus in line. But still, asking about the intentions in that situation would be only natural.

Goodwood too wishes there'd been a bit of commentary there. But then, he also wishes that his Shepards that *did* destroy the base (e.g., all of them) and flipped off Timmy could have told Vesir as much, saying words to the effect of "yeah, they're pricks, which was why I told'em to go to hell!"

Shepard's final words to Vasir as a paragon certainly are lackluster, atleast the renegade had a decent arguement.

But back to Liara. Wouldn't it be cool if Shepard (if he saved the base) took over Cerberus in the end and together with Liara, rulled the entire galaxy! ^_^

Pfft, with Liara as the Shadow Broker, they don't need Cerberus. Besides, Paragon Shepard has the Krogan, Rachni, Geth, and Quarians to help.

Besides, evil!Shepard/evil!Liara is hottness and awesomeness incarnate.

Goodwood apologizes for shifting the topic, but he's been playing a lot of Starcraft II lately, and wonders if anyone else in this thread has as well. He suspects that the voice of Dr. Ariel Hanson is in fact Amy Hillis, but he's not been able to confirm this yet. That said, Goodwood would like to point out that, if his suspicion is correct and that the two characters are voiced by the same woman, this only adds to Hillis's epic awesomeness. Goodwood even thinks that she could eventually be just as great as the legendary Jennifer Hale.

Hey Goodwood! I also play ST2! Althrough not that much...

And while I love Hillis voice acting, I still didn't care much for that character from ST2.

Hillis does in fact play Dr. Hanson.  Confirmed here.

Meh, doesn't really score Hillis any bonus points from me. Didn't really care about the character that much.

Damn straight! I really hope we can get this ending in ME3, it will be soooo much better than DS Male-Revan/Bastilla ending in KOTOR.

Lol!

Someone needs to make a fanart of Shepard (either gender) sitting in a cool villain chair with a white persian cat in his/her lap, and Liara in evil Bond Girl costume (or Asari commando "armor", which is practically the same thing) by his/her side. Image IPB

...or, considering what happens in LotSB, might be that it should be Liara as the villain and Shep as her Bond girl. Image IPB

Bonus points if either gets a mechanical arm.

They should both be evil villains together, as a happy evil couple!

Also I said it before. But it could be funny if Liara and Shepard acted all Evil!Liara/Shepard in front of the VS, just to scare them! ^_^

What does VS stand for again? Couldn't find the meaning of that.

And I can imagine it now:

evil!Shepard: (comlink to Liara) I'm stand in the former capital of the Batarian homeworld.

evil!Liara: (in Shadow broker voice) You want to meld on the homeworld of the species we just exterminated?

evil!Shepard:... It'd be hott.

evil!Liara:... I'll be there in 15 minutes.

(Meanwhile)

Grunt: (laughs maniacally as he whips Udina and the rest of the Council as they turn a wheel in the bowels of the Citadel)

As a renegade ending for ME3 Bioware must have Liara and Shep starting shift in the galaxy after the Reapers are dealt with.Image IPB

And the paragon ending needs to be a classic happy ending, with Shepard riding into the sunset, together with the LI of course.
