Oh that's right!  The third issue is coming out in a week from Wednesday and the final one will be out a month after that.  I'm not expecting the DLC will be released shortly after this, though.  My guess would be late this year or even early next year.  BW still has the hammerhead plus that Kasumi character to release.

Hmmm, I think that they will release the Liara DLC not long after the final issue of Redemption as a way of exploiting the hype and maximising the profit from the DLC. If they release it a few weeks after the final issue of Redemption, then the story will still be fresh in everyone's mind and gamers will be eager to help Liara out. If it's later this year, then everyone will have forgotten about it and their profit won't be as great.

Also, I could stare into Liara's eyes for hours.

The patch that they'll release tomorrow will not fix anything content related. Not that it could've been expected anyway. It will apparently also not fix that easily missed part of Liara's dialogue, even though that could easily be qualified as a bug (and would be fixable within a minute).

I'm just hoping whatever DLC we get is built with the technology to be incorporated into ME3, looking at DA:O Awakening the DLC from DA:O aren't being carried over for because of said reason, granted the DLC content released hasn't been all that important plot wise. not sure if casual ME players will take in another change in Lara's personality in ME3 if things gets resolved in a DLC but not carry over

I don't care if she winds up being the nice liara from ME1, or the mean liara from ME2; just so long as we can have her back as a squadmate in the next game.

as for DLC pay/free matter i found something like this on the net:"[...]The Cerberus Network, an in-game channel for delivering free new downloadable content and news for Mass Effect 2."
 [note that Cerberus activation is included in new-game cost...] so... all DLC including possible Liara one should be free i suppose...

I think youare reading a bit too much into that.  I think all it meant was that there may be free DLC available, and I think it is safe to assume pay DLC as well.

I also agree with bjdbwea that if the Liara thing is being developed as DLC it is not going to be satisfying at all.  A paid expansion would be the way to go so that they can actually put the effort and content into it to make it a worthwhile addition.

I remember reading somewhere that there could be other DLCs outside the Cerberus Network, and those would of course not be free. Though I see no difference between "inside" and "outside" the Cerberus Network anyway. All it ever did for me was deliver the news, the actual downloading of the content always happens through the browser, does it not? I think the activation code will give you free access to some content (like the recent armor and shotgun), but it would be a very strange business model to give everything out for free. Instead, I think you'll still get the news through the Network, then have to pay for activation codes. Not that I wouldn't appreciate free stuff, though as said before, to create top quality content you'll have to be able to make money with it, no way around that.

Well, here's to hoping we get a good Liara DLC then, if they want some significant additions.

then question rises: will it be in order-psyhical-disk like ME2 ones, or pay and download online?

I will say playing through ME1 again from the start as a femshep has made me remember what I liked so much about Liara--her expressions, her lack of people skills, naivete, the way she speaks, etc.



Makes me all happy inside....
